A long time ago, I tried out the ipsy Glam Bag subscription service. This included a super cute beauty bag with 4-5 deluxe products for $10.00 per month. When I learned about the ipsy Glam Bag Plus, I was really excited! It was a little bit more expensive, but instead of deluxe sized products, I received 5 full-size products based on my beauty profile! The cost for the ipsy Glam Bag Plus is $25.00 a month plus tax. The box has a retail value of at least $120 in products! Woo hoo! Once you sign up for ipsy, you’ll fill out a Beauty Quiz, noting things like your skin, eye, and hair color. This will also ask about your beauty expertise and style. The ipsy Glam Bag Plus has become another favorite beauty subscription box of mine and I definitely recommend it.

The ipsy Glam Bag Plus for August 2019 came with a lot of fun goodies inside. This month’s box came with $151 in full-size beauty products. Brands included THEBALM COSMETICS, THRIVE CAUSEMETICS, F.A.R.A.H. BRUSHES, SUVA BEAUTY AND PURLISSE. Let’s check it out and see what was inside.

THEBALM COSMETICS In The Balm of Your Hand Greatest Hits Volume 2

I have loved any of the THEBALM eyeshadows I’ve checked out in the past. Not only are the colors pretty and easy to apply and blend, but the names of the shadows and designs of the packages are FUN!! This palette is great! From eyeshadows and blushes to bronzer and highlighter, this bad boy has it all (and then some)! I love how portable it is, making it easy to pack for summer weddings, long weekends away, and more. (Retail value: $32)

Tip: Use the pinky-brown shade Matt Russo for the perfect transitional hue. Swipe Bahama Mama onto cheeks for a healthy flush. Finish with Mary-Lou Manizer to highlight.

THRIVE CAUSEMETICS Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara in Brynn

A single swipe of this volumizing, lengthening mascara can help make sparse lashes look like extensions. The innovative comb-shaped wand defines, separates, and helps prevent clumping. Featuring an Orchid Stem Cell Complex, this formula stimulates lash growth. (Retail value: $24)

Tip: Hold the wand horizontally at the base of your lashes and swipe mascara outward toward tips. Apply another coat (including all the tiny inner corner lashes) and let it dry.

I don’t know about you, but I love checking out different makeup brushes. So, I was excited to check out the F.A.R.A.H. Brushes 5-Piece Eye Perfection Set! I honestly don’t think you can have too many eye makeup brushes! This 5-piece eyeshadow set is designed to seamlessly shade and blend with professional-level quality. Tip: Dip the ultra-lightweight 205 Fly Wings Brush in cream liner and hug the top lash line – gently pat eyeshadow into fresh line to set.

Summer = the time to shine. This liquid highlighter is super pretty and perfect whether you’re going for a subtle sheen or extreme strobe effect. Even if you head out for dancing or hanging out on the beach on a hot day, the water-resistant formula won’t budge!

Tip: Shake well. For an all-over glow, mix 2-3 drops into your moisturizer or foundation. For a highlighted effect, dab onto high areas (cheekbones, Cupid’s bow, nose bridge) and blend.

PURLISSE Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

I think that moisturizing skin is super important! As one with somewhat dry skin, I’m always up for trying a new moisturizer. It’s tough finding a daily go-to that hydrates without feeling greasy and protects your skin. This fast-absorbing formula is infused with white tea, vitamin E, and algae extracts to help prevent fine lines while shielding your skin from the sun.

Tip: Massage onto clean skin first thing in the morning, at least 30 minutes before sun exposure.

This was filled with a lot of great beauty products! Overall, I really love the ipsy Glam Bag Plus subscription box! I love that it includes full-size products and the product value was greater than the cost of the subscription box. I highly recommend the ipsy Glam Bag Plus!
