Today’s blog post on 6 Ways to Sleep Better at Night is written in partnership with Carressa Linen.

As a busy work-at-home mom, getting a good night‘s sleep is vital to a successful day. My day starts early and ends late and sleep is necessary to maintain good health so I can continue to take care of everyone and everything I have to do throughout the day. Sometimes, it can be difficult to get a good night‘s sleep, especially when challenges in life arise or the list of tasks is long. With these 6 tips, you can get a good night‘s sleep too.

1 – Set a regular schedule for sleeping and waking. If you find yourself struggling with sleep, try to get in a habit of waking up and going to sleep at regular times during the week. Be sure to continue this on the weekend as well.

2 – Avoid consuming caffeine late in the day. While a single dose of caffeine can help to enhance focus, energy and sports performance, when consumed late in the day, it can stimulate your nervous system and prevent your body from relaxing. Caffeine can stay elevated in your blood for up to 8 hours! Avoid drinking large amounts of caffeine between 3-4 p.m. You can drink Shot of Joy instead to help you feel more relaxed.

3 – Reduce naps during the day. While taking naps during the day may feel great at the time, it may actually confuse your internal clock. This may affect you sleeping well at night. Instead of taking a nap, why don’t you play casino games like ล้มโต๊ะ instead? It’s a fun way to spend your free time and earn money.

4 – Take a relaxing bath or shower. Did you know that taking a warm bath, shower or even a foot bath before bed can help you relax and improve your sleep quality? I have definitely found this to be true myself. Just something about taking a hot shower before bed relaxes me and makes it super easy for me to fall asleep and get a good night‘s sleep.

5 – Optimize your bedroom environment. If you live in a noisy environment or have pets, you may find that you hear every noise out there. Something that we’ve found to be helpful is having a white noise machine. Your brain tunes out all the other noise and focuses on the noises coming from the machine. You can also optimize your bedroom environment by eliminating external light and setting the temperature to be around 70°F (not too hot and not too cold). To feel better at night, invest in a good chauffage par rayonnement.

6 – Get a comfortable mattress, pillow and sheets. In our home, we love our Purple mattress. While buying a mattress can definitely be a big investment, it’s not something you do all of the time. Neither is buying pillows. Something I’ve found to be very important that affects my night‘s sleep is the right set of sheets. I want them to be soft and comfortable and not something that makes me sweat through the night. If you’re looking for a good set of sheets, I recommend you pick up a set of the 1000 Thread Count Carressa Linen sheets. We purchased the Queen sized sheets and love them. They feel so soft and luxurious, plus they look pretty! We purchased the Dark Grey color and love them!
