Banana Split as part of a partnered post with Voortman Bakery

Strawberry Wafer Banana Split with Voortman Bakery

Did you know that July 21st is National Ice Cream Day? I’ve loved being an ambassador with Voortman Bakery and sharing about the different flavors of their delicious wafers and cookies! This time, I received an assortment of flavors of the Voortman Bakery Wafers. Since we live in California and it’s strawberry season, I thought it would be fun to incorporate an ice cream treat with Voortman Bakery Strawberry Wafers, vanilla ice cream, and strawberries. What better way than to put together a homemade banana split!!

Voortman Bakery Wafers

This time, I received a yummy assortment of wafers from Voortman Bakery! The flavors included Coconut Creme Wafers, Lemon Wafers, Orange Creme Wafers, Strawberry Wafers, Banana Wafers, and Key Lime Wafers. I love that these wafers not only taste delicious, but they are also made with REAL FRUIT!!! You definitely want to give these a try if you haven’t already!

If you would love to try the different wafers and cookies from Voortman Bakery, you can find the retailer that carries them by checking it out HERE. Where we live on the California Central Coast, I’ve seen the Voortman Bakery products at Target, Walmart, Food Maxx, Foods Co and Ralph‘s.

STRAWBERRY WAFER BANANA SPLIT

What You Need:

  • Voortman Bakery Wafers in Strawberry flavor (or your favorite flavor)
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Whipped Cream
  • Strawberries
  • Banana
  • Rainbow Colored Sprinkles

What To Do:

1 – Peel and cut banana in half. Cut those halves in half. This will give you 4 pieces to which you can create a square shape in the bowl.

2 – Add a few scoops of your favorite ice cream.

3 – De-stem some fresh strawberries and place those around the bananas.

4 – Break Voortman Bakery Strawberry Wafers into four pieces. Place these around the banana split.

5 – Drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream.

6 – Add whipped cream and top with sprinkles.

Enjoy your Strawberry Wafer Banana Split for National Ice Cream Day (and all year long)!!!

Strawberry Wafer Banana Split with Voortman Bakery Wafers

I love Voortman Bakery wafers and all of the different flavors they have! I love them not only because their wafers and cookies are yummy, but because they are baked with real fruit! At Voortman Bakery, they believe in real ingredients. Simple, real ingredients are what make their cookies so remarkably delicious. Their wafers and cookies have no artificial color or flavors AND no high-fructose corn syrup.

At Voortman Bakery, they believe in the art of baking. Plus, their bakers love to bake! From creating new and exciting flavor combinations to constantly reviewing their recipes, their bakers are real cookie connoisseurs! They believe that cookies should taste delicious. I love that Voortman Bakery is committed to giving uncompromising quality, flavor, and simply better cookies to their customers. At Voortman Bakery, they believe that REAL bakes better.

HISTORY OF VOORTMAN BAKERY

I like to learn about the history behind the brands that I love! Voortman Cookies began in 1951 when two young Dutch brothers, William and Harry Voortman, opened their first bakery in Hamilton, Ontario. It took five years of dedicated baking and hard work before a Canadian grocery chain agreed to give Voortman Cookies shelf space in their stores!

Even though their name has changed, their commitment to using simple, real ingredients has not. At Voortman Bakery, quality and taste has always been and always will be their top priority. From their classic Windmill cookies to their new Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, they’re constantly reinventing what delicious tastes like!

What is your favorite flavor of Voortman Bakery Wafers??
