I love everything beauty and today, on Redhead Mom, I’m sharing a St. Patrick’s Day Eye Makeup Tutorial
with the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette. This includes affiliate links.

One of my favorite beauty stores to shop at now is Ulta. I used to love shopping for beauty supplies at Sephora and still have some things I get there, but I find that I get more bang for my buck at Ulta. Plus, I can earn points at Ulta, which convert into cash I can use towards other purchases, versus the points I would acquire and use at Sephora – often times getting sample sized products.

One of the makeup brands I’ve discovered and come to really like a lot is the Morphe brand. I’ve visited Ulta a few different times and swatched the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette, but I could never really get to the point where I felt 100% good about buying it. I typically use plums, mauves, browns and more neutral colors when it comes to my makeup and the Jaclyn Hill Morphe eyeshadow palette has some brighter colors. This last time I went to Ulta with my daughter so she could spend some of her birthday money on makeup and I looked at the palette twice, swatching the eyeshadow colors of course. They were all out of this palette and then another customer asked for the palette and sales lady went to the back and came back with 10 different palettes. I was talking with the other customer about it and was almost sold on it. I decided I was going to wait on it.

My daughter and I waited in line to make her purchase and another lady behind us told us that there was a sale in the app where you could get 20% off – and that included some of the eyeshadow palettes. She mentioned that she had bought a Morphe palette and I decided right then and there that I could get this palette for a good price! $38 less 20% discount less $10 in points. That brought my total to $21, plus I could do a tutorial for St. Patrick’s Day for all of you on Redhead Mom – woo hoo!

Now…on to the tutorial. I love the texture and consistency of the Morphe eyeshadow palettes. They swatch beautifully and are super easy to build on the eyelid. I wish that the eye shadow colors had names, but they don’t. So in my tutorial, I’m just pointing to the colors. Check it out.

Step 4 – Apply this shimmery green color to your eyelid (I like to pat it on my lid with the brush to lessen fall-out).
