Pregnancy and childbirth are challenging, but are nothing compared to raising those precious little souls we bring into this world. When my husband and I married, we each brought 3 children to the marriage. Our blended family now includes four boys and two girls, which makes for a VERY BUSY life!!!

Quite often I have other parents tell me that our family is like the Brady Bunch (yes, pretty close), but also ask how I do it with that many kids in our home? It isn’t always easy, but I love our family! While I am not a perfect mom, I do the best to take care of our children and ensure that each child is safe, healthy and happy. These 3 everyday mom hacks not only help me be a better mom, but they also help to simplify my life as a busy mom.

1 – Create lists. I’m one of those people who likes to create lists, but LOVES to check items off my list as I go. This is especially great when you have a lot of stuff going on like we do with our big family. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment every time I check one off! You can do it on paper, in a spreadsheet, or even in a note on your phone.

2 – Take some time for yourself. As moms, we do a lot around our homes and for our family members, but to be the best we can be, we need to take some time for ourselves. This time allows us to get rejuvenated – kind of like a tune-up does for a car.

3 – Keep a calendar. I can’t tell you how many times my calendar has saved me from forgetting school activities, bill payment due dates, blog post deadlines and more. I use my phone‘s calendar and often set alerts for the day before, as well as the day of.

What About Store Brand Formula

While I breastfed my babies, I do know a lot of other moms who used formula. Store Brand Formula provides more than just nutrition for babies. Store Brand Formula is nutritionally comparable to nationally advertised brands but costs up to 50% less. It’s called formula for a reason. Infant formula is regulated by the FDA, which means that all ingredients need to meet specific standards- that means that all formula brands contain comparable essential nutrients to make sure baby stays healthy and receives nutrients to grow. I learned a lot when I checked out the Store Brand Formula Health & Nutrition Information.

Be sure to check out the Parents’ NewsFEED page and download the free Store Brand Formula e-book on formula feeding.

You can also get more information by following Store Brand Formula on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
