This is a partnered post with Energizer.

I love this time of year! It’s filled with holiday music, baked goodies, shopping, wrapping, gifts, friends and family. As a mom of 6, I know that the holidays will more than likely also require batteries for some of those holiday gifts. That’s where Energizer helps us out!

I’d like to consider myself a pro when it comes to planning and making sure we have everything we need to have a memorable holiday with our family. I’d also like to say it’s always been like this, but there is no way I can admit to that. I’ve learned the hard way. Ya know when you’ve wrapped the gifts, put them under the tree, watched them being open with excitement in the morning, and then realizing the toy doesn’t come with batteries and you don’t have batteries to put in them to make them work. Ugh! That’s the worst!

As moms and dads, when the holidays are here, we’re thinking about all the things we have to do! We also hope we don’t forget anything. An item that is easy to forget, but is quite the holiday essential is a battery. Energizer wants to help us make sure those precious holiday moments are protected and those toys can be powered up right away! Not only are these batteries great for toys, but also for holiday decorations! We love to use ours in our newest holiday decoration that sits on our front porch. I love knowing how reliable and long-lasting these batteries are!

Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries are the #1 longest-lasting AA batteries. That’s right … the longest lasting. They also hold power in storage up to 20 years (AA/AAA) and feature leak resistant construction to protect those shiny, new toys, gadgets and devices.

Why does that matter? Because with the holidays coming up, you want to avoid any holiday battery breakdowns. Imagine the excited look and smile on your child’s face when they open the hottest toy of the season (battery-powered of course) but then that cheer turns to fret if there are no batteries to start the playtime. Santa can bring the coolest toys in the world, but if he forgets the batteries or brings batteries that can’t make it through New Year’s, it can be a major letdown. And that usually means you’re running around on a holiday week and “find batteries” is added to your already long to-do list.

According to Energizer’s survey (in 2016 and 2017):

  • 54% of parents run out to buy batteries last minute around the holidays.
  • Two in five moms have forgotten batteries for a holiday gift.
  • 85% of parents remember the look of delight when their child saw a battery-powered toy come to life for the first time.
  • 81% of parents say battery-powered devices keep them sane on long holiday trips.

See, the right batteries truly can be a life saver … or at least a sanity saver.

Be sure to you’re prepared for the holidays and stock up on Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ batteries.

Have you stocked up on your Energizer batteries for the holidays?
