It seems like just yesterday when my boys were just little guys. Some were in preschool while others were still in diapers. Where the heck did the time go? While we did have cameras and phones, taking photos and storing them was not what it is today. I remember storing photos on CDs and sending them to family, in addition to adding them digitally to my blog. While I wasn’t storing pictures on floppy discs or printing photos from 35mm film (yes, I printed pictures like that before having kids), it definitely wasn’t as easy it is today to save, share and print photos!

I recently discovered a cool app called TreeRing Memories. This app is great and focuses on helping moms with three specific problems:

– Creating baby books. TreeRing Memories automatically groups photos that are added to the app and puts them into chronologically ordered, beautifully designed books that moms can print. Everything is editable and customizable, and, if a mom wants to create a book for a special event, like a first birthday party, she can do that, too.

– Tracking milestones. Moms can swipe through dozens of memory prompts within seconds to recall special moments and memories, like an early ultrasound, how parents shared the good news, special visitors after birth, funny events, and memories of first experiences and holidays.

– Sharing among family. While their are plenty of options for sharing photos, collecting photos other family members have taken and incorporating them in a book can be a struggle. Additionally, many parents are wary of over sharing photos of their child with their entire social networks.  TreeRing Memories lets family members privately share photos and milestones with a more intimate group of followers, who can add content to be included in the memory books too.

TreeRing Memories is always free to use, with the printed books starting at $9.99. Download the app in the iTunes app store. For more information about TreeRing Memories, visit http://memories.treering.com/.

As moms and dads, we know that life can get pretty dang busy and this may result in tons of photos, but nothing done with them. What follows is the “mommy/daddy guilt” of not doing anything special with those memories. The TreeRing Memories app will help eliminate that “mommy/daddy guilt” by making it easy to turn those precious memories into memory books with can share with family and treasure over the years.

I love that you can easily compile your memories into a cute baby book and there are three different book types you can choose from, as well as lots of different designs! The three book types include Large Hardcover, Small Hardcover and Small Softcover. Does TreeRing Memories sound like a great app? Be sure to download the TreeRing Memories App HERE.
