As a parent, I want the best for all of my children. I want them to live a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. As our oldest gets closer and closer to graduating from high school, the challenge of finding a job becomes more real…to both her and us as her parents. The same feelings will follow as each of our 6 kids gets closer to finding a career. I remember being in high school and taking quizzes to see what fields I would be interested in when it came to finding a career.
Today, our kids are put on educational tracks, where they take classes that would help them get experience and education in the field they would like to have a job in. While that is helpful, there is still something missing. That’s where GraduationSource comes into play.
Many students graduate high school or college with little or no idea about what they really want to do for a career. Ideally, they’d love to find a job that they love! Just as we’re starting to prepare our kids for college, we should also be preparing and helping them think about their future job plans.

My kids are still too young to be thinking about what after graduation will look like, but I’ll keep this in mind for when they are older!!

I’m surprised no one came up with this sooner. There is a real need to help kids find their way after school. It’s a jungle out there.
Deciding what to do with your life can be tricky, especially for teens or young adults. I certainly changed career paths more than once before finding my passion.
I don’t know where my daughters will go but I know for sure I’ll be their number 1 supporter. Love that there’s help out there for kids that need it.
Love this! It is so hard to decide for some. Not everyone is born with a “passion”. Some feel like they simply do not connect with any one route. I love that this gives better direction!

This is a great service to take advantage of. I wish I knew about this when my children were in that stage of life. My daughter however, always wanted to be a banker, so she followed her dream and graduated with a degree in Economics. I think Graduation source will help our youth to find the most appropriate career that would help them develop their talent and hone their skills.

I have one about to graduate this year and she has already decided upon her career path and is taking college courses to give her an edge on the competition. The job market is so competitive you need to know where you are going the sooner the better.

I will have to share this resource with my older son. He is a freshman and wants to go into law enforcement. But depending on some medical results, this might not be the best career move. We shall see.
My daughter graduates this year, so this is awesome timing for me. She’s pretty sure about what she wants to study in college, but we’ll see how it goes once it starts. I know many students change their major a time or two once they begin courses. 🙂

I jumped right into a career right after college. It was good not to flounder, but I wish I had spent more time getting myself on the right path.
I don’t have to worry about that for awhile, but when my kids do get older I just want them to follow their hearts. I won’t put any pressure on them at all. I wish I knew what I wanted to do when I got out of school. I was clueless.

Ours haven’t really made any choices yet. My oldest messed around with school for a bit before following me and my father into the military as a starting point.
