Spring time is almost here – in a few weeks in fact! That means it’s getting warmer, our windows are opening up and suddenly we have the desire to clean.  I don’t know what it is about Springtime that makes me wanna throw stuff away and clean our house, but nobody complains when it happens! This is also a great time to inspect your whole house and work on immediate repairs. For instance, you may check the condition of your flat roofs and if you notice any damages, have them fixed at once with the help of professional roofing contractors to avoid more costly repairs in the future. Make sure to hire a professional roofing contractor who can provide excellent results.

While some love to clean, I am NOT one of those people. I always feel better when things are cleaned up, but I’m so busy with our 6 kids and working from home that sometimes I just don’t have the energy or desire to clean. I’m sure I’m not alone, am I? in an effort to make life easier, I’ve come up with 5 Tips to Make Spring Cleaning Easier. Check them out.

5 Tips to Make Spring Cleaning Easier

1 – Make a to-do list. I don’t know about you, but I love checking off things on a list. Creating a list helps me to know everything I have to do and then I feel a sense of accomplishment when I check things off and want to move to the next task.

2 – Play some music. I love listening to music and it’s amazing how much more enjoyable it makes the cleaning process. Either plug your headphones into your smartphone or turn on your home music system and enjoy some music while cleaning things up.

3 – Get the family to help. If kids see you’re not dreading the cleaning process (before or during), they’ll be more inclined to WANT to help out! We like to make donation bags to donate to the needy in our area. Our kids eagerly start going through their stuff and putting items in the bags that they’d like to give to the needy. Those who need help cleaning the whole house should consider hiring cleaning professionals from companies like Birch Cleaners.

4 – Finish what you start. I am notorious for starting a project at home and moving on to another project, leaving the last project unfinished. After a while, there are multiple projects that have been started and it takes even longer to finish everything! I have to say I have consciously been working on finishing what I start and one way to do that is to do one project at a time.

5 – Replace your old cleaning products. When it comes to spring cleaning, I like to start some of my cleaning products fresh. After all, it’s nice to start new sometimes, especially with the start of spring cleaning.

Recently, I headed to Walmart and picked up a new broom. We were in need of a new broom as we’ve had our old broom for a few years. I also noticed that it was getting harder and harder to get food out from the corners of our kitchen (under the cabinets and such). At Walmart, the Libman brand immediately stood out to me with the big print on the packaging. I also found a display of Libman products and picked up the Precision Angle Broom.

The Precision Angle Broom is great! It precisely cuts to reach under cabinets and tight corners! The Libman Precision Angle Broom has longer life and is environmentally friendly as it includes fiber made from recycled PET bottles. Plus, Libman guarantees quality construction for this product. You can use it indoors and outdoors.

Other Libman products include the Tornado Mop and the Wonder Mop.  The Tornado Mop is America’s bestselling mop, with a larger mop head that covers 50% more surface area. With 3 green bands, it helps to prevent tangling, as well as polyester yarn that resists odor-causing bacteria. It’s ideal for any surface. The Wonder Mop has Microfiber GRIPSTRIPS™ that lifts up to 20% more dirt. It also has a power wringer that allows you to remove more water from the mop head, in turn allowing your floors to dry faster. It works on all surfaces, and can be machine washed up to 50 times.
