It’s hard to believe that it’s already December, isn’t it? Before we know it, we’ll be ringing in 2017! Ack! How is time going by so quickly? I don’t remember it doing that when I was younger. Ok now that I’m feeling old, let’s move on! Since everybody has eaten dinner, the dishes are done, and I’m sitting here quietly on my laptop, I began to ponder something. Bloggers. We’re a special kind – self-motivated, determined and excited to share about our experiences through our blogs and social media channels. I love being a blogger! And honestly, I don’t mind being called a mommy blogger either (*GASP!!)!! Yes, I said it. While I would appreciate PR reps addressing me by my first name instead of “Hi Mommy Blogger,” I really don’t mind being called a Mommy Blogger. I’m a mommy and a blogger and the world still exists!

Recently, I was checking my Facebook thread (which I admit I don’t do as often as Instagram, but it’s all good) and I came upon a post for Disney Social Media Moms. One of the members had asked a question and was really excited to receive “pixie dust” in her email inbox. While I’ve seen a lot of excitement about these different media events, of which I’ve never received an invite (i.e. Disney Social Media Moms or the Sands Conference in Turks & Caicos), I don’t automatically go to the feeling of “That’s not fair!” or “Why does she get that?” No – instead it’s more of an excitement for them because I know how excited I would be to be invited and would hope others would feel the same way. Besides, you can buy tiktok views with paypal to reach more people. By navigating this site, socialmediadaily.de, you can increase the number of followers that you can use to reach your audience. In addition, utilizing a tool seo can significantly enhance your website’s visibility and performance in search engine results

I began to think about a Red Carpet Event that I was invited to a few years ago. It took place in LA and was for the Grammy’s (pretty awesome, right?)! While I don’t live in LA, I do live in California and had, more often than not, driven to many different events down in LA. While many of the bloggers are super friendly and inviting (i.e. saying hi and acknowledging me at different events), the reaction to my social media share for this particular event was much different than that. In fact, as soon as I posted to Facebook, I received a message from an LA blogger. This blogger had said that it wasn’t fair that I was invited to the event because I didn’t even live in LA. I didn’t respond in a negative way to the blogger and almost backed out of the opp, but thankfully the managers in the community encouraged me to go and said the bloggers attending were all chosen for different reasons and I should embrace that. I agreed and excitedly continued my trek down to LA for the Red Carpet Event.

What is the purpose of this blog post? The purpose is to encourage all of us to be HAPPY for other bloggers and the amazing opportunities they have! While we may not be there inxt person, we can often times follow along on social media and feel as if we are there with them through their pictures and comments. I can tell you that when I go to an event, I post a lot with the intention of sharing all about my experiences and hoping that my followers feel like they are there with me!

The bottom line is that we should be happy for other bloggers…because it’s what we would want!

What are some of the things we can do to support one another as bloggers?

  4. I don’t understand why we can’t just support each other. Things will be easier if we help each other instead of pulling each other down.

I tuck some of these moments away as a dream. I would love to have a few of the opportunities but I know it will come with the right timing if it is meant to be. I love that other bloggers do have the opportunity.

If bloggers didn’t support each other (esp in the beginning) it would be near to impossible to start getting your name out there and gain subscribers… we all need each other and I’m happy to help anyone : )

I agree with you! I always feel happy when my friends are picked to do special trips like this. But I can understand a bit of sadness that some people feel when they are not picked. It is just like in grade school when you might have been last to be picked in a game. It stinks and then you move on.

This is such a kind message. Imagine just being happy for those that have and not just wanting it. I also believe that good things will come to those who wait. Support one another, always!

I am always happy when I see bloggers talking about the events they have been invited to go to. I think we need to support each other. I cant imagine having someone tell me it was not fair I got invited to something.

YES!!! I love this so much! It’s SO important to support each other. We’re all in the same boat and there’s always enough room for success in this industry for all of us. Such a great and important message!

I’m always so happy when bloggers get these opportunities. While they aren’t in my niche, so I wouldn’t qualify to attend, it’s so exciting to see someone I’ve come to know get such an amazing opportunity. Negativity is such a waste of energy

What a great post I love reading this and a great encouragement

  17. Lynndee says:

There are just people who are like that (not only bloggers); they can’t be happy for others because they’re full of envy. “Been there, done that.” Just don’t let them affect you. 🙂

  18. Obviously jealousy came into play here but I never understood how some bloggers could try to sabotage each other. It only ends up hurting all of us in the long run. We need to remember that when commenting or sharing others work, for companies to see the real value of working with bloggers, we need to see it as well. We should be happy when a blogger gets a n opportunity to do something we would like because that means if she is successful there will be more offers for others and we may be included next time.

  19. I think we should all help each other out and support one another!

  20. You are so right. I say that when we thank God for the blessings of others, we set ourselves up to be blessed as well. Thanks for sharing. ^yolonda

I never thought about jealously among bloggers, I guess no matter what and where, jealously will happen among certain people. I’m glad you are so positive!

  22. ellen beck says:

Oddly as a reader of many blogs, I likely notice it as much as bloggers because it is my newsfeed. I have always found it odd they would be jealous, but oddly enough they are.

I am actually pretty thrilled when bloggers I support by following, reading, and tweeting for them get to to do something fun. They work hard. I am especially glad to see the good bloggers go to an event and wlll often follow the hashtaags.

  23. Terra Heck says:

Well said! A couple years ago I noticed a tremendous amount of negativity. Luckily, I haven’t seen it so much lately. If we want companies to respect us as people, we need to respect the other bloggers. It shows us to be mature if we are kind to our fellow people.
