Having a baby is a lot of fun…and a lot of work! From the moment we find out we have a bundle of joy on the way, we are looking for every way possible to protect him or her. We also do the best we can to keep our baby happy and one of those ways is by using a diaper that keeps our baby dry and comfortable! Luvs is a brand that has been around for years and just recently introduced the new and improved Luvs Ultra Leakguard Diapers with Nightlock Plus™. These diapers are softer and more absorbent than ever before, with large stretch tabs for easy fastening, ultra-leakage protection and a money-back guarantee. With Luvs, you’ll find high-quality features for less cost than premium brands. So a great diaper and you save money? It’s a win-win situation!

As the official diaper of experienced parents, Luvs is always committed to providing moms and dads with value.  They recognize that parenting can be difficult, so diapering shouldn’t be.  Luvs conducted a formal poll of moms across the country to take a look at parenting like it really is and uncover what they truly value ™ most. The survey found that:

  • Nearly 2 in 3 moms have never taken a day completely for themselves.
  • 81% of moms would prefer an entire day off from housework than dinner with their celebrity crush.
  • 87% of moms agree that the first time their child slept through the night was one of their best parenting times yet.
  • Even a short spurt of “me” time goes a long way! A quarter of moms surveyed stated that they felt an uninterrupted shower was more relaxing than a day at the spa.
  • Other major moments moms value more now than before they became parents include sleeping past sunrise, watching television and movies that aren’t cartoons, and having an interrupted phone conversation.

I believe that almost every parent would agree that raising a child is one of the most rewarding (and challenging) things he or she has ever or will ever do! Come on – let’s admit it – sometimes we need to have a “time-out!” With the holiday season here and the spirit of giving in the air, what better way to give to an experienced parent a little bit of “me time.” Here are 5 Ways to Get a Little “Me Time:”

1 – Take an uninterrupted shower. While this may be challenging to do sometimes, especially when you have little ones, it’s amazing how much better and how refreshed you feel afterwards! Now, it may not be a LONG shower, but it will be a little bit of “me time” and something to help you unwind from the day’s stressful activities.

2 – Pamper yourself with a face mask. I love applying face masks! Not only do I feel like I’m pampering myself, but my skin feels awesome afterwards! This only takes a few minutes to do. You may have longer to do it if you do it during nap time!

3 – Take a “time-out.” Sometimes days can be extremely stressful and it super important to take a “time-out” to regather yourself and your thoughts so you can be the best parent you can be. Sometimes this simply means going into your room or even the other room, closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths.

4 – Sit back and read a book. Yes, I know this is easier said than done and won’t be done in a hammock on a tropical island all the time, but it is a great way to get a little bit of “me time.”

5 – Turn on a chick flick. Put on some comfortable clothes, sit back and watch a show that isn’t Sesame Street, Barney or Teletubbies. It could be a show you haven’t seen in a while or even a chick flick.

As I mentioned earlier, Luvs is a great diaper that keeps our babies comfortable and dry, as well as doesn’t break the bank! In fact, right now, Luvs is offering a great money-saving opportunity with a $1 print-at- home coupon. Go HERE to access your Luvs coupon of $1 off any one diaper pack. Simply print the coupon at home and use it at any mass, discount or grocery stores where Luvs Diapers are sold. All Luvs Diapers are included in this particular offer, except trial/travel sized diaper packs. The Print-at- Home coupons expire 30 days from the date the coupon is printed by the consumer.
