My Favorite Beauty Subscription Boxes for 2016

Over the past year, I’ve signed up for a few different beauty subscription boxes, including: ipsy, Glossybox, FabFitFun, Boxycharm and Sephora Play. The boxes ranged in cost, as well as worth (i.e. the amount of the product provided compared to the cost of the subscription box).

ipsy ($10.75 per month) – I love this subscription because not only is it only $10.75 per month, but it comes with a variety of products (brands I haven’t heard much about) in a cute makeup bag that can be used for gift packages or makeup storage. There are also a variety of deals on makeup products throughout the month that are available at discount prices.

Glossybox ($21.00 per month) – I really love this subscription box too because it is only $21.00 per month and comes in a pretty pink box each time. The items in the box are bigger than ipsy (which is probably why it costs more money). I always look forward to my Glossybox subscription box arrival each month.

FabFitFun ($53.73 every quarter) – While this subscription box is more expensive than others, it is an awesome one! I love the products that are included in it (full-size beauty products, as well as clothing items sometimes). The boxes are designed around the season (i.e. summer box may include items for outdoor activities versus winter box may include scarf and socks). This is one of my favorite subscription boxes!

Boxycharm ($21.00 each month) – I liked the Boxycharm box, but not quite as much as the other brands. I didn’t quite feel like the products in this subscription box lived up to the other subscription boxes. This is a subscription box I ended up cancelling in October. It was somewhat like Glossybox, but not as good in my opinion.

Sephora Play ($10.75 each month) – This is also one of my favorite subscription boxes as I love shopping at Sephora and know that if I find a product I love, it’s easy to repurchase. While I’m not really that thrilled with the bag each subscription comes with, I do like the products. I also like that this subscription box is only $10.75 each month!
