Holiday Gift Ideas for the Pokemon Fan
Do you have a Pokemon fan in your home? I didn’t really know that much about Pokemon until the game, Pokemon Go, came out. I put it on my phone originally because our two younger kids didn’t have smart phones at the time and wanted to play the game. It was actually after never having my phone because they were playing on it that we decided to get them their own smart phones. Once they had their own phones, I signed up to play Pokemon Go with them. Our older boys were on Team Instinct, while our youngest son and myself were on Team Mystic.
It took quite some time for me to get the names of the different Pokemon characters, but with the help of my kids and friend, I learned a lot of them. I have to be honest that I still don’t know all the names, but it was fun having something in common to enjoy with our kids. Amazon – We love shopping on Amazon in our home and we have been signed up for Amazon Prime for a long time! It’s a great deal and I highly recommend it if you aren’t signed up for it. Not only do you get great deals on Amazon, but you also get FREE 2 day shipping and you can even stream free TV shows and movies!
eBay – We love finding gifts on eBay at times because you can get good deals on items that may no longer be available and typically, the shipping is pretty fast (all dependent on the seller of course). We found Pokemon plushes on eBay.
Hot Topic – Hot Topic has a variety of goodies for different fandoms and game trends, including Pokemon. A lot of times, they will have great sales, including buy 2 get 1 free or you can also earn Hot Topic bucks. For the bucks, just don’t forget to spend them, which we usually forget about. At Hot Topic, we’ve found plushes, shirts and blankets.
GameStop – We love going to GameStop. Not only do they have games, but they also the Pokemon Go Plus, plushes and shirts. When they do have new high demand items like the Pokemon Go Plus, they do put a limit on how many you could buy. For instance, we could only buy one per person, which makes it tough when you have 6 kids who like Pokemon Go. That’s where eBay and Amazon come in handy.
