Our kids love to drink milk and when I brought home a2 Milk® , they drank it up….fast!!!  Over the last few months, I have loved being an ambassador for a2 Milk® and sharing about our experiences with the brand. When I was younger, I loved to drink milk. However, after I had babies, my body changed and I just couldn’t handle milk the way I used to. My stomach would hurt and it was a negative effect on my body overall. I was super excited to discover a way to enjoy milk again without the problems I had to deal with when drinking regular milk. I think a2 milk is awesome!!!

I headed to Ralph’s (one of our grocery stores here on the Central Coast that carries the brand) and picked up a gallon of a2 Milk®I found it in the dairy sections (with the specialty milks) and discovered it was available in Fat Free, 2% and Whole. While our store didn’t carry the 1% milk, I do know that 1% is available.

I learned a lot about a2 Milk® thanks to my participation in this campaign. For instance, did you know that based on an independent study, 1 in 4 Americans have discomfort after drinking milk; yet only 5-7% of the population has been clinically diagnosed with a lactose medical condition. a2 Milk® contains approximately 6x the amount of calcium as soy beverages, approximately 8x the protein of almond beverages and approximately 6x the potassium levels of rice beverages. Check out these things I discovered about the product itself.

First off, a2 Milk® is real milk! That’s right! It’s perfect for those who experience tummy troubles (boo!) or post-dairy digestive discomfort because they can enjoy a2 Milk® without any symptoms! Pretty awesome, right? Here is how it works. The A1 protein is the culprit behind many people’s discomfort after consuming dairy. And believe it or not, it’s currently in all conventional and organic milks on the U.S. market. a2 Milk® only comes from specially selected a2 cows, whose milk is naturally free of the A1 protein. It’s great because a2 Milk® is the real replacement to overly processed alternatives and the days of compromising taste and nutrition with inferior nut- or bean-based beverages – or worse yet, cutting out milk all together – are gone! Plus, the The a2 Milk® Company™ has partnered with U.S. family dairy farmers in upstate New York and the Midwest to expand the a2 herd.

If you’d love to give a2 Milk® a try, check out the store locator HERE. Be sure to follow a2 Milk® on Facebook and Twitter for more product information or promotions. If you’re looking for a more nutritious beverage for your children as a daytime or after school snack, I highly recommend you check out a2 Milk®.

Have you tried a2 Milk® before? What is your favorite way to enjoy it?
