With a big family, I am always trying to avoid the Oops. That’s when you realize you’ve run out of something and don’t have any extra on hand. That adds a little bit of stress and pressure to hurry up and replace it. I work really hard to avoid the oops. I mean, I’ve run out of toilet paper at different times in my life and it is NOT fun! So I like to stay stocked up on the essentials in our home, especially with 6 kids because sometimes kids don’t mention that they used the last of something or that we’re all out of something.

No one likes that sinking feeling when you reach for something only to realize it’s all gone. Avoid those oops moments by stocking up at Walmart.com. You can save time and money when you shop online. When you have a trunk full of groceries and a toddler attached to your hip, it can be tough carrying in those large, often bulky items that keep your hands full. Most shoppers don’t realize they have the option of shopping for the same great household essentials at Walmart’s everyday low prices on Walmart.com. By doing so, they also save time so they can enjoy more of that summer sunshine.

I recently headed to www.avoidtheoops.com and purchased some household essentials for our family. When browsing the site, I noticed there were different categories, including Kitchen, Laundry, Cleaning, Baby and Bathroom. The items I picked up included Charmin Sensitive Toilet Paper, Puffs with Lotion Tissue, Crest 3-pack Toothpaste, Duracell AA Batteries, Downy UnStoppables, and Downy Dryer Sheets. Once you get to $50, you get Free Shipping. While they said it would take a week to arrive, it actually took less time than that. While we don’t have kids in diapers anymore, I definitely think it’s a great place to purchase diapers.

So how do you avoid the Oops? First, stock up. I always make sure we have extras on hand for things like toilet paper, feminine products, batteries and toothpaste. Second, don’t wait. Don’t wait until you’re almost out of something to buy more. Rather, add it to the list when you grab the last extra of a product (in your stock pile). Third, stock up when items go on sale. This makes it even easier and more cost-effective to stock up on products because you get more of them for a better price. Fourth, use coupons. You can find a lot of coupons today! Whether it’s in the newspaper, online coupon sites, coupon apps or store apps, there are lots of ways to save money on your purchases. Fifth, buy your household supplies from places like Walmart or Walmart.com because you’ll get great prices on the items you purchase.
