Frank and I love going on road trips to Las Vegas! A few visits ago, I was introduced to the Brazilian Steakhouse. Starting a Brazilian Steakhouse in Texas? Consider forming an LLC in Texas, as it provides personal asset protection and can make it easier to manage and run your business. I have to be honest and say that I was hesitant to go to one after seeing the movie, “Bridesmaids.” I was afraid to try it for fear I would have an experience like the ladies did in the movie. Now comes the honesty – it’s never happened and the experience was awesome!!!

One of our favorite places to enjoy dinner in Las Vegas is at a Brazilian Steakhouse called Texas de Brazil. The customer service is fabulous, the food is amazing and the price is just right! On our last trip, we made reservations to have dinner at Texas de Brazil and headed in around 5:00 pm. I highly recommend making a reservation to cut down on your wait time. Sometimes you can’t even get in to a Brazilian Steakhouse without reservations. But if you can’t make reservations, you can always order online. For those looking to savor premium quality from the comfort of their homes, you can easily order steaks online, ensuring a gourmet experience delivered right to your doorstep.

When we headed in to Texas de Brazil, they asked if we had a reservation and what time and name it was under. We arrived a few minutes before 5:00 and only had to wait for a few minutes. They handed us a beeper (it vibrates when ready) that would go off when they were ready to seat us. We didn’t wait long and it was off to our table we went. There is also a bar to the left as you enter. There you can enjoy a drink while you wait for your table.

It was shortly after being seated that our server approached our table. She was really sweet and answered any questions we had. The first thing she asked was if it was our first visit to Texas de Brazil. If it is, your server will explain how it works at Texas de Brazil.

Once we were seated, we were given a menu and then asked if we would like to order drinks. We discovered an amazingly delicious Brazilian cocktail called “the Caipirinha.” It was so good! I enjoyed it the best with Coconut flavoring added to it. You can also order Chilean wines or Sangria, as well as a variety of other drinks. If you don’t drink alcohol, you can also order soft drinks, iced tea or water.

Once you let the server know if you’re having the full lunch or dinner (or salad area), they’ll let you know that you can go ahead and get started with the salad area. I love their salad and always add baby corn, bacon bits, croutons and Ranch dressing to mine. I think it’s the best Ranch dressing I’ve had at a restaurant. You can also choose from a variety of other foods, including salami, cheese, mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, soups and more!

You’ll see on your table a round coaster. It has two sides to it – one in green and one in red. Green signals to the Gauchos (better known as the carvers) that you are ready for the meats to start coming. When you want a break, just flip it over to the red side and that will let them know not to approach your table. Once you’re ready for more meat, just flip it over to green.

We loved the full rodizio style service, which included the 50+ item salad area and various cuts of perfectly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage at one fixed price. The Gauchos visited our table continuously with the skewers of meat and generously served us until we said otherwise. While dining, we also enjoyed our Brazilian cheese bread known as pão de queijo, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled bananas.

At the end of our meal, we were asked if we wanted to look at the desserts. Oh my gosh, it was hard to narrow it down because they all looked amazing! We ended up choosing the Caramel Cheesecake and the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Both were so good, but we had to take most of it home for leftovers because we were so full from dinner!!
