It’s almost Spring and that means a lot of us are getting into spring cleaning mode. We’re going through clothes, toys and other items in our home and getting rid of them or we’re going through our house and cleaning and organizing. This year, spring cleaning not only revolves around our homes but our bodies, too. For me, it’s about getting healthy, glowing skin. I love it when my skin glows. I feel healthier and also feel like a look younger (a plus for those of us feeling older)! Here are a few easy steps to follow to get Healthy, Glowing Skin.

1 – Drink lots of water. Make it a goal to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. The water helps clear your skin and give you a glow by making it easier for your body to flush out toxins quickly. I like to carry a water bottle around with me because I drink it whenever I’m thirsty. If you are all watered-out, try drinking herbal tea or other non-caffeinated drinks to stay hydrated.

2 – Eat a healthy diet. Healthy proteins and nutritious fruits and vegetables help a lot with achieving healthy, glowing skin. Foods include Omega 3 fatty acids (fish and walnuts), Vitamin C (citrus fruits and spinach), and Fiber-rich foods (fresh vegetables, nuts and unprocessed fruit). If fiber-rich fruits and vegetables are not easily available, one could opt for equally powerful and nutrient-densed green superfood.  Get to know more about the supplement that contains 72 kinds of ingredients to include vitamins/minerals, greens, adaptogenic herbs, and probiotics in PlantRise greens review.

3 – Remove makeup before bed. I have to admit that I am totally guilty of falling asleep in bed with my makeup still on. It’s no wonder that this causes breakouts and leaves you without glowing skin. Be sure to remove your makeup before going to bed.

4 – Exfoliate and cleanse. I recently discovered the Bioré Baking Soda Pore Scrub and the Bioré Baking Soda Cleanser. These products are awesome! My skin felt so soft after using them!!! This was my first time using a Baking Soda Pore Scrub and Baking Soda Cleanser and I honestly loved it! Keep in mind that you are using a Baking Soda Cleanser to penetrate your pores rather than Baking Soda by itself. These products are great if you have combination skin! Who knew that Baking Soda would be the new weapon in the fight for clean pores? Baking Soda is a natural cleansing ingredient and exfoliator and penetrates pores while dissolving dirt and oil, as well as gently exfoliating. Pores are left clean, soft and smooth and you are left with smoother, clearer skin without over-scrubbing. These cleansers are also perfectly pH balanced.

The Bioré Baking Soda Pore Scrub is an awesome product! I loved how easy it was to use, how fun the “fizz” felt on my face and how clean and soft my skin felt afterwards! This Concentrated Powder Scrub is the first to mass technology and is activated with water. It not only penetrates pores, dissolving deep dirt and oil, but it also exfoliates dry, flaky skin without over-scrubbing. It’s a customizable scrub that allows you to dial up or down the amount of exfoliation needed.

The Bioré Baking Soda Cleanser is a Daily Pore Cleanser that has a dual-action baking soda formula. This formula dissolves deep down dirt and oil while gently exfoliating. You’ll see Purified Pores in just 2 days!

If you have oily skin, be sure to check out the Bioré Charcoal products at Walmart. Thank you Bioré for these new products that leave my skin feeling clean, healthy and glowing!
