One of my favorite authors is Nicholas Sparks. I love reading the books he writes and then watching the stories come to life in a movie afterwards. I recently discovered a romantic novel written by Nicholas Sparks entitled, The Choice. When I discover things I love, I tend to want to share them with family, friends and my readers. What better reason to get together with family and friends than to visit, eat and talk about a good book (and upcoming movie), right??

At our get-together, we had a great time visiting and eating. We enjoyed delicious Spinach Dip and chips, chocolate and wine and talked about the book, as well as the upcoming movie. I’m thinking we may have an upcoming Girl’s Night Out so we can get together to go and see it!

One thing I love about reading is that a really good book will sweep me away with the characters as they develop with every turning page. It’s especially great to get lost in a Nicholas Sparks story – being transported into a world of quiet beaches and beautiful marshes. I can picture myself by the water with the sand between my toes, falling in love alongside the characters in the story. It makes me especially long to see the story come to life on the big screen.

About The Movie

Lionsgate’s highly anticipated movie release, The Choice, takes us to coastal North Carolina and introduces Nicholas Sparks’ fans to another great love story. I love his stories and can’t wait to see it in theaters!!

When feisty medical student Gabby Hollan (Teresa Palmer) moves in next door to perennial ladies’ man Travis Shaw (Benjamin Walker), they embark on a surprising romantic journey neither imagined possible. Travis has always believed a serious relationship would cramp his easygoing lifestyle, while Gabby is preparing to settle down with her long-term boyfriend – until an irresistible attraction between the unlikely couple upends both of their well-planned lives. How far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?

The highly anticipated movie debut of Nicholas Sparks’ hit novel, The Choice, comes out in theaters on Friday, February 5th. It’s gonna be a good one! I can’t wait to see it!
