      I decided to make a must happen list and a would-be-great list. I really had to consider my priorities this year and decide to focus on what our family enjoys the most.

    I have a stress free holiday by planning ahead with both sides of the family on what times we will be getting together, who will be buying what, and letting them know even when we will leave. It’s hard visiting everyone when you have small kids so this helps take the worry out of it.

    I would say don’t take on more than you’re comfortable with. Preparing a big meal for lots of people is stressful to me, so I prefer to do ‘bring a snack’ get-togethers. I also try to shop early and not wait until the very last minute to get everything purchased.
