Commemorating the release of its exclusive bouquets, Teleflora is launching two national TV commercials entitled “Happy Dance” and “Ice Skating” that capture Teleflora’s Peanuts Christmas bouquets in nostalgic animated scenes based upon the legendary holiday classic. The two commercials began airing on November 30th on national prime time, cable and syndicated, popular regular season and holiday special programs, including the premiere and encore of ABC’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” TV Special.

“Growing up, everyone has warm memories of the Peanuts gang and ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ and they watch the multi-generational masterpiece with their own children now,” said David Dancer, executive vice president, head of marketing at Teleflora. “We are honored to partner with Peanuts Worldwide in celebrating this landmark anniversary by unveiling our exclusive lineup of whimsical floral bouquets in collectible containers that commemorate cherished moments from the TV special.”

“As we celebrate the 50th year of the iconic television special, ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’, it was natural to partner with Teleflora, a company that celebrates life’s moments so beautifully,” said Leigh Anne Brodsky, managing director, Peanuts Worldwide. “Charlie Brown’s pathetic tree is an iconic moment in the special, so it’s great that Peanuts fans will now be able to decorate their own homes with these beautiful Teleflora arrangements.”

Snoopy! He’s the Flying Ace, Joe Cool and Charlie Brown’s beloved beagle and confidante. An ode to his decorated doghouse from the TV special, this holiday bouquet is a collector’s dream. Featuring the frisky beagle himself asleep atop his iconic red doghouse, the FDA-approved container doubles as a cookie jar for storing Christmas (or canine) cookies for seasons to come. Rich red and white blooms complete with greens, pinecones, and holiday ornaments make the perfect gift for your most cherished and loyal friends and family.

About “A Charlie Brown Christmas”

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” is the first animated television special based on the popular newspaper comic strip, Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz, and the first Christmas special for the franchise. This December will mark the 50th anniversary of the Emmy-winning special, which first premiered in 1965. It was produced and directed by Bill Melendez, who also supplied the voice of Snoopy; and Executive Producer Lee Mendelson. The synopsis: ‘Tis the season to be jolly, but Charlie Brown, feeling that Christmas message is lost amid all the seasonal glitter, has the blues. Psychiatrist Lucy suggests a cure: get involved with the Christmas play! When our hapless hero sets out to find a Christmas tree to use as a stage prop, he unknowingly takes a step toward discovering the holiday’s true meaning. The scraggly tree that thrives on a “little love” and a timely assist from Linus make the message of the season come shining through. The TV specials air on the ABC network leading up to the Christmas holiday.
