I love salad and I love chicken! So, when I recently discovered Healthy Choice® Simply Cafè Steamers, I thought – why don’t I create Lettuce Wraps with the two? Oh my gosh – I have to say that it was a pretty dang good idea!

I headed to Kroger to pick up Healthy Choice® Simply Cafè Steamers. There were a variety of flavors to choose from. Some of my favorites include: Simply Meatball Marinara, Simply Chicken Fried Rice, Simply Chicken & Vegetable Stir Fry, Simply Grilled Chicken Pesto & Vegetables, Simply Grilled Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo and Simply Lemon Herb Chicken.

Healthy Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • Healthy Choices® Simply Cafè Steamers (any flavor is great, but I used the Chicken & Vegetable Stir Fry)
  • Lettuce (I used Butter Lettuce)
  • Salsa

Directions

1.  Rinse and dry lettuce leaves.

2.  Heat Healthy Choices® Simply Cafè Steamers in the microwave for 4 to 4 1/2 minutes. The steamer is a really cool feature in this dish! It literally steams the food inside the bowl when it’s heating in the microwave.

3.  Remove film carefully (it can get really hot)! Stir Healthy Choices® Simply Cafè Steamers with a spoon.
