Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. Not only does it include delicious dishes and a juicy turkey, but it also includes laughter, stories and thankfulness with our family and friends. This year, we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at my sister and brother-in-law’s home. In attendance were my dad and stepmom, mother- and father-in-law, best friend and her two kids and then our big family (all 8 of us)! It was a night of laughs, food, more food and thankfulness.

We started the night with appetizers, including Onion Dip, Clam Dip, Veggies and Ranch, and my Homemade Deviled Eggs. I haven’t made Deviled Eggs in a while, but I wanna say they turned out pretty dang yummy! Not to mention the fact that they went fast!

The kids had a blast playing games with grandma, grandpa and each other. Some of the family enjoyed watching football and relaxing in the front room. We all enjoyed eating lots of food!

Once the turkey was ready, we were excited to dig in. Pa sliced up the juicy turkey for everyone! We had lots of different dishes to fill up our plates with, including Corn Casserole, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Stuffing and rolls. For dessert, we had a homemade cake (from my mother-in-law) and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
