‘Tis the season for holiday entertaining! I love this time of year! I love the music, the decorations, the baked goodies, the gifts and the holiday entertaining. Each year, I host an Annual Cookie Exchange and it will be no exception that I host it again this year. With holiday entertaining comes the need for delicious (and pretty) foods and that’s where Mark West Wine, Barilla Pronto Pasta and Pepperidge Farm come into play.

When entertaining, you want to make sure you pair foods that taste good together. A great way to keep your guests happy is with the Pepperidge Farm Cracker Trio and the Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Cookie Collection. You can enjoy these either by themselves or with cheese and meats.  The Pepperidge Farm Cracker Trio and the Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Cookie Collection provide quick and easy entertaining for everyday and holiday. It’s the perfect item to keep on hand whenever you have guests stop in. I love the flavors and the distinctive elegant shapes.

Another great item to have on hand is Pinot Noir from Mark West Wine. The Pinot Noir is an exceptionally smooth wine that over delivers for the price. At Walmart, you’ll find a great selection of super premium wine available at a great price! With it, we paired a recipe for Greek Penne Pasta with Chicken, made with Barilla Pronto Penne Pasta. I’ve never used this variety before, but really liked it! It’s super easy to make too and combine with your favorite sauce and mix-in items (in this case, I added chicken, feta cheese and greek olives). Barilla Pronto Pasta is the easy-to-prepare pasta that is ready in minutes. It is prepared in one pan – no need to wait for water to boil and no draining required (woo hoo!). It’s available in 5 delicious shapes (Spaghetti, Penne, Rotini, Elbows, Linguine).

Tips: Add 1 box of Barilla Pronto Pasta to 3 cups water or broth and in the last 1-2 minutes of cooking time, you’ll add 1 cup of liquid (I used Cream of Chicken soup combined with chicken broth).

If you are tired of tomato based pasta, try this one. Asparagus and chicken are tossed with penne pasta.
