Road Trip to Las Vegas Baby!
Living in California has a lot of perks. First, we live in a beautiful part of the country! Second, we’re only about 20 minutes from the beach. Third, it only takes us about 7 hours to drive to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway! Frank and I recently headed to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway where you can also gamble just like at 토토사이트.

On this trip, we stayed at Bally’s. It was pretty sweet because we had one night compensated (thank you Total Rewards points – aka Rewards from Gambling Points) and Frank found a great deal on the second night. Our room was a nice room, but I definitely would have liked a better view – lol. But you can’t have everything when part of your stay is free, right? I did like how our room had a refrigerator, a flat screen tv and a vanity I could use to do my makeup in (score!). I would definitely stay at Bally’s again in the future.
Driving to Vegas took about 6 or 7 hours, so when we arrived, it was pretty late. When we arrived, the valet parking at Bally’s was full, so we headed to Self-Parking. It must have been a busy weekend because we waited for about an hour to check in. Nothing that an ice cold Corona from the bar couldn’t help though. Once we were checked in, we headed up to the room, turned on the television and went to bed.
In the morning, we were both pretty hungry, so we decided to walk around to see what there was to eat. Being a woman (and taking advantage of the vanity in the room), it took me about an hour to get ready – ya know, shower, makeup, hair – ha ha! So when we finally got out of the room, it was time for brunch. We found a great place in the Miracle Mile Shopping Center in Las Vegas. It was called Lombardi’s Romagna Mia and they had some really yummy food! Frank ordered
After brunch, it was time to burn some of those calories by walking around the shopping center. Why not pick up some goodies while walking around too, right? We stopped at the MAC Makeup store to get some eyeliner and then ALEX AND ANI to get a Las Vegas bangle! There are so many cute bangles there! We also walked around some of the other shops, discovering some fun things along the way (like a giant Girl’s Night Out flask) and even found Frank a Las Vegas hat!
After walking around the shopping center, we ventured out to walk around Downtown Las Vegas. One thing I love about Las Vegas is some of the gorgeous architecture you see. I wanted to take more pictures, but didn’t want to “look” like a tourist – ha ha!
Later in the day, we headed to an early dinner at Fogo de Chão. I had never been there before, but oh my gosh – amazing!!! It’s a Brazilian Restaurant and was amazing! I honestly can’t wait to go back again! One major tip – do not eat at least 3 or 4 hours before going so you have plenty of room for all the delicious food and meat you will get to enjoy at this awesome restaurant! When you are seated, you will have the chance to go to the appetizer bar. So many good foods! Then you take your plate back to the table and you have a little round card (almost looks like a coaster). It has 2 colors – red and green. Red means “no food right now” and Green means “bring on all the meat you can!”
After dinner, we headed back to the hotel and relaxed for a little bit. Once our tummies had room again, it was time to head over to the LINQ and get a Classic Ghirardelli Hot Fudge Sundae! That is one of the most delicious sundaes I’ve ever had before! Not to mention all the chocolate throughout the store and the free chocolate sample you receive when you walk into the store.

Your trip looks fun! I live here in Las Vegas and love my city for so many reasons. One that sticks out is the ability to play tourist or local any time I please since their truly is so much to do.

We love Vegas. You live so close that is nice – I live about 2000 miles away in Wisconsin. If we lived as close as you do – we would be there more than once a year…we only get to visit once a year.

I love Vegas! It’s so exciting and my favorite thing to do there is go on tours and see all of the sights. I also enjoy family road trips, they are wonderful for quality time.
