I am a girlie girl and love my makeup! I love to get my nails done, relax with pedicures and pamper myself with hair colorings at a salon on a regular basis. With a big family, I try not to spend too much money on my “girlie” things by going and getting my hair done every month. Typically, I’ll try to stretch it out to two or three months at a time. During these stretches, I often notice those blasted little white and silver hairs popping through at the roots of my hair. What is a girl to do? I have eight words for you – Madison Reed Root Touch Up Brush-On Powder!

I was recently introduced to Madison Reed Root Touch Up Brush-On Powder at Sephora. I love to shop at Sephora and especially love it when I discover a great product! The Madison Reed Root Touch Up Brush-On Powder is one such product! I found the Madison Reed Root Touch Up Brush-On Powder in the hair section near the checkout line.

Our Sephora (located in Downtown San Luis Obispo) had three different shades available – Light Golden Brown, Dark Brown and Auburn. With my red hair and highlights, I was torn between Light Golden Brown and Auburn. However, with the help of a Personal Beauty Advisor at Sephora, we tried it out and found that Light Golden Brown was the best fit for me.

Root Touch Up is a multi-dimensional, non-toxic powder compact, free of Titanium Dioxide, that quickly and expertly disguises root regrowth or stray grays between hair coloring applications. It’s ideal for quick touch-ups between colorings, as it acts as an on-the-go “Makeup for Hair.” I love that it brushes on dry, instantly covering roots and grays when there is no time to color. Madison Reed’s Root Touch Up is available in Sephora stores for $30 in four shades – Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Light Golden Brown and Auburn Red. The complete line, including three additional shades – Light Brown, Light Blonde and Black – will be available online at madison-reed.com and sephora.com.

The idea is incredible. I’ll check the Sephora at JC Penney’s in Reno to see if Madison Reed is in their inventory. I’m right with you in the “cutting back” on things. This is important stuff, though. I especially like that it does not rub off on the pillows.
