If you have ever had a baby (or taken care of one), you know that it can be pretty challenging with a teething baby. Not only are they more fussy (who wouldn’t be with teeth ripping through your tender gums?), but they chew on everything! I’ve seen necklaces, bracelets and toys for teething babies – all which are great ideas! However, any of us who own a cell phone and have been around a teething baby have seen what happens with the two! That’s right, our teething baby goes straight for the cell phone and starts sucking on and chewing on the corners of the phone!

I don’t know about you, but I never really thought about the toxins that might be in the different cell phone cases we have! I don’t think we think about it because we as adults are not really chewing on our cell phones and getting that yucky stuff in our mouths. But what about our teething babies?

While our smartphones and tablets are super convenient for us, their cases are not so great when our teething babies start chewing on them. Did you know that our smartphone and tablet cases are made from toxic plastics? Plus they’re designed with paints and coatings that are linked to cancer, neurological and behavior disorders, obesity and worse.

Babycase is the FIRST and ONLY nontoxic, babysafe media device case. Not only is it nontoxic, but it offers Four Corner Protection, Ultra-Protective Slim Fit and Raised Dimple Texture. Plus, it’s Top Rack Dishwasher Safe! This is great for anyone with a smartphone or tablet and a teething baby in their life!

What is your favorite feature of the Babycase?

What a great idea!!!! babies always want to chew, now you don’t have to worry, what a great idea!!!!

  2. This is such a great idea. It seems like the things we don’t want babies to put in their mouths are the things they love to put in there the most!

I like that Babycase is dishwasher safe. Cellphones are certainly a go-to item for babies during teething. Our old Ford truck inherited teething marks from one of the kids. The person who bought the truck laughed so hard when we explained how the dashboard got dimpled by nibbling.

  4. Jeanine says:

I love the ridged edges. My babies would love that. This is a really neat idea, perfect for teething babies!

  5. Pam says:

This is a great idea for parents of teething babies. After all, even if you don’t want something in their mouth, they still seem to find it.

  6. My oldest learned how to crawl by using my phone as an incentive to get moving. haha.

  7. Rosey says:

I did NOT know the cases were made from toxic plastics. That is very good to know though, I will be on the lookout w/my granddaughter.

  8. Meagan says:

Seriously, such an awesome idea. My son is always playing with my phone – I’ll have to try this out.

  9. Its a great idea. But I think I would just keep my cell phone away from my baby.

  10. Well, now, there’s a great idea! I know that a lot of babies will pick up anything and put it in their mouths, so a phone case that is non-toxic is a great idea!

  11. Kecia says:

I didn’t know that most phone covers were made of toxic materials. We always keep our phones away from our babies though.

  12. I cant remember how many times I found my daughter with my phone in her mouth.

Where was this when my kids were babies!!?! I love it. I’m thinking it would make a great shower gift, something different than the traditional gifts.
