Save Even More Money with the New CouponMate Extension
Having a big family can add up to a lot of money fast if we aren’t careful about how we spend it. We save money by stocking up on sale items and using lots of coupons. Growing up, my mother clipped coupons every weekend. In this day and age, we can still clip coupons, but I find it so much easier and faster to use the coupons I find online. Not only is it easier and faster, but there are so many coupons available to use!
You’ve probably heard about CouponMate.com, right? It’s an awesome site with tons of coupons that will save you money! Well, guess what? It gets better! Now, CouponMate has an extension to make the “coupon hunting” process easier. I don’t know about you, but before I make a purchase online, I look for coupons that may be available for that store or brand. With the CouponMate Extension, I don’t have to search anymore. I simply go to the site and click the button on the toolbar and an image will popup in the sidebar listing the additional coupons I can use for greater savings! It’s so cool and easy to use!
With the new CouponMate Extension, you can search the web daily for all the best coupon codes for over 100,000 brands. Plus, the team behind this awesome Extension is working hard to automate the process of applying the best code to your cart. Roughly 250 websites are supported for this automation so far. With the Extension, you’ll be able to browse the latest coupon codes for websites you visit at any time without having to leave the site. On supported sites, you can also use the “Find Best Coupon” feature, which will appear in a small window during checkout to automatically find and apply the best code for your specific items.
CouponMate is designed to make coupons readily available for you as you surf your favorite shops. There are two types of supported websites:
Type 1) These are websites for which we collect coupon codes – these coupon codes can be viewed in a side window from your browser, clicked on, and copied directly to your clipboard. You can then paste these codes to the appropriate place at checkout.
Type 2) These websites have all the capabilities of Type 1 in addition to having an automated “Find Best Coupon” feature which will search through the best coupon codes found and automatically apply the top code for your purchase.
CouponMate currently supports over 100,000 websites! The Type 2 websites, however, are not at as high of a number, but more and more sites are being added to the growing list everyday! To have the full CouponMate experience, you can go to a Type 2 website such as Macys.com, PacSun.com, or Express.com, add 3 or more items to your cart, and go to checkout.
Once on the checkout page, you’ll see a small CouponMate window slide into the top right corner of the page. Clicking on the blue “Find Best Coupon” will start the process of finding and applying the best coupon for the items in your cart! And remember, this is only for the sake of demonstration, so no actual purchase is necessary!

I never use coupons, but I imagine that would be really helpful for people who do use them.
I have not used this particular extension but I have tried some others. They tend to rattle my browser. it does seem useful. I might have to check this one and see how it works out.

The coupon thing can be time consuming sometimes and not worth the savings, but this looks like an easy way to do it
i have a few coupon apps on my phone and I don’t ever remember to use them when it’s time to check out. I need to get better about this.
I really need to do better and be better at couponing. I know that I could save a great deal more money than I do. I use Chrome so this should work fine for me.
