I love to make and decorate cupcakes!  As a Wilton Mom, I get access to a lot of great products that make decorating super easy and fun!  Recently, I made a Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcake using the Turkey Decorating Kit.  I found mine at Jo-Ann’s, but you can also find them online or a local craft store.  They retail for $5.99 a package.

Making the Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcake was quick and easy.  Heck, even your kids can do it!  The Wilton Turkey Decorating Kit includes candy eyeballs and candy drops – enough to make 12 turkeys.  You can decorate either cookies or cupcakes using the kit.  Here is what you need to make your Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcake:

  • Cupcakes (I love chocolate, but you can choose whatever flavor you like)
  • Chocolate frosting
  • Wilton Turkey Decorating Kit

To start, you’ll frost the cupcakes.  This helps hold the candy eyeballs and candy drops in place.  You’ll add the feathers first (alternating colors) and then add the eyes.  Adding the feet will be the final touch.  The kids love making these cupcakes and everyone loves eating them afterwards!

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

Who would you make these Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcakes with?
