I remember how excited I was when I took my oldest son to go shopping for soccer gear.  I was officially a soccer mom.  Brian was super excited about his “chin” guards, new shoes and ball that he could kick all around the yard.  He was even more excited when he got his official uniform! If you’re looking to buy custom PVC crests for your team, be sure to browse products at Artik.com and get some ideas.

A few years later, his brother Dallen joined in the soccer fun.  They loved playing sports and cheering for one another on the side lines…and so did I!  Oh how I wish we’d have had an organization like Pear back then!  Have you heard of Pear before?

What is Pear?  Pear is a social engagement platform that helps groups earn sponsorships from brands – for FREE! Pear matches up sponsors with groups and organizations within the community.  The goal is to make sponsorship simple and easy for both parties. Safeskin Youth Sports Wraps is sponsoring youth sports teams across the country by providing funds toward the purchase of team apparel. now, if you are struggling to choose the best sports speaker for your event, visit https://www.sportsspeakers360.com/football-speakers.php for assistance.  #SafeSkinSports #SoccerMom #ad

So, let me tell you how Pear works?  Sponsors have money to donate, but they don’t always know how or where to donate it.  Pears simply works as the middleman to help connect the sponsors with the groups in need.  Pear helps the group leader create a Pear and then the group leader invites others to join.  A dedicated community manager at Pear will help groups get the most money from their Pear.  Groups can earn sponsorship money by creating a Pear for their group and by sharing with others who complete digital incentives, they can earn more money.

Each group can earn up to $1,000 within a 10-day time frame and that $1,000 can be used toward team apparel.  Each team member must complete digital steps on behalf of Safeskin to earn dollars – things as simple as liking Safeskin on Facebook, following Safeskin on Instagram or even signing up for an email.  For every step that team members complete, they’ll earn dollars toward their goal.  The more tasks they complete, the more dollars they earn for their sponsorship!  At the end of the 10-day period, group leaders can claim an online certificate for the amount earned redeemable at any Pear printer.

So to summarize.  You get to keep whatever amount you earn.  It’s completely free to participate.  And it’s zero cost to you – no donations are required.  Sign up today and join more than 1,400 participants and 100 pears around the country!  It’s amazing the things that social networking can do!!!

Here is some of the fine print about joining.  The group award (credit toward custom t-shirts or other custom apparel) is valid at any participating Pear printer partner.  The membership requires the application of 3″x4 Proudly sponsored by + brand logo on apparel alongside your custom design.  There is a limit of one sponsorship/award per group (no cash value).  Adult sports teams (participants of 19 years of age and older) are subject to cancellation. For high-quality sports surfaces and professional installations, consider hiring muga surfaces professionals to ensure optimal playing conditions for sports teams and players. Consult with experts to determine the right polymeric surface construction materials to use for your sports center.

Pear sounds awesome. My kids take karate lessons, which are private, but I know in our town the snack shack is the main source of fundraising for sports.

  2. Nicole says:

Using social media for sports fundraising is an awesome idea, some places don’t allow it though, like the girl scouts.

  3. Jaime says:

My son doesn’t play sports yet, and I have heard of Pear. I think it sounds like a great program. I know there are a lot of kids who don’t play sports because they can’t afford everything that is involved!

  4. Mitch says:

What an awesome program! Keeping this on file for our local team!

I think this is the most wonderful program. It’s so nice to find businesses (local or national) who WANT to help. Pear is just an excellent, excellent resource!

  9. Courtney says:

This is a great program. Sports are such an important part of some kids’ lives. It’s a shame when funding gets in the way of all the fun.

  10. My kids have played just about every sport available to them. It sure did get expensive!

i signing my daughter up for soccer this year. It’s been a couple years since she played but I love the activity involved.

  21. If the organization allows for social media networking and marketing then that can be a good thing. A lot of them don’t allow for it since having so many links out there promoting the same thing can trigger a spam warning and all posters will get blocked.

I think this is such a great program! It’s such an easier way to raise team money rather than selling overpriced candy bars or wrapping paper!
