I LOVE to eat crab!  Living on the Central Coast of California, you think I would have it a lot, right?  Not so.  It’s kind of outside our budget on a regular basis, but this was a special getaway weekend for Frank and I and we decided to splurge.  And oh my gosh – was it amazing….and messy….and amazing!!!

We headed to the Crab House at Pier 39 in San Francisco, while we were visiting for a weekend getaway.  They had a good menu.  It wasn’t too big or too small.  We found exactly what we wanted – crab in a garlic sauce.  Oh man, my mouth is watering while I’m thinking about it right now!

When we got there, it was dinner time and the wait was pretty long.  However, since there was only two of us, we were able to sit at the bar and be seated right away!  Totally the way to do (bar seating that is).  We started off with the Crab House Beer (so good!) and really yummy bread and butter.  The bread was brought to us warm and I ate a lot of it – ha ha!

Then it was time for the Crab.  Oh my goodness!  When they delivered the Crab to us, they also handed each of us a bib.  Good call!  It was so messy, but so good!  I’m telling you I enjoyed every minute of that meal.

The last part of the meal was dessert.  It took me a few minutes to prepare for dessert because I was pretty full, but I couldn’t turn away dessert!  They served us Tiramisu dessert and it was yummy!  That was my first time eating Tiramisu dessert and I left feeling like I would definitely eat it again.
