Connecting with Moms Around the World
It’s hard to believe it’s been 6 years since I started blogging at The Mommy-Files. One of the reasons I started blogging was to connect with other moms online who might be going through similar things in motherhood as I was. It was also a place for me to share my thoughts, feelings, experiences and photos of our family’s life.
How would you like to read and learn about the experiences of other mothers around the world? Let me introduce you to Mom Voyáge, recently launched by Urbini (a globally inspired line of baby gear). Mom Voyáge is a community of Mom bloggers who share their experiences in motherhood from all around the world. Featured contributors on the site come from France, Britain, the Netherlands, Holland, Japan, China, Australia and the US. Mom Voyáge gives you a global perspective on how different cultures name their babies, how they celebrate their pregnancies, what their take on maternity leave is, as well as a ton of other Mom-inspired topics.
I would have searched Mom Voyáge when I was pregnant. I would have loved connecting with other moms from around the world. How fascinating it would have been to learn about the traditions in different cultures and how pregnancy was celebrated.
Be sure to follow Urbini on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest for updated information and promotions.
What would you want to connect with other moms around the world about on the Mom Voyáge site?
I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini. I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
This is a really cool idea. It reminds me of my pregnancy days when I connected with other pregnant women due in the same month as me. Our kids are 13 and we are still connected on a Facebook group!
I was part of a pregnancy group with each child I have. I always loved hearing about the things everyone was going through and the advice that was available in those groups.
I love being able to connect with other people. It’s always nice to have a group of people to talk to that know what you’re going through.
I think it is great to connect with others. Always something new to learn.
What a cool site! I’ll have to check it out.
Thanks for sharing the site! I’m actually one of the writers, so when MC came out with this blast campaign, I was really excited! 🙂
This sounds like such a wonderful site. I think we can learn so much from other cultures and the way they raise their children.
I think it would be awesome to be able to connect with other moms like that! Just to be able to see all the differences and the similarities! Make the world a little smaller!
The idea of Mom Voyage is so neat! I love learning about different cultures, and to be able to connect with them in one place is great!
I’ve been reading good things about the Urbini Strollers, and now reading they have this type of resource for moms is really cool too!! I love companies that go out of their way to connect, allowing others to connect like you’ve mentioned here is even better! Kudos to them! And thank you for sharing the info.
It’s so great to get different perspectives and cultures. You might learn something new!
What a great idea. I know some mothers who could benefit from this.
This is a really cool site and a great idea. I am going to pass this a long to a few friends.
I think that is fascinating! No kids here yet, but if we ever do, I’ll surely connect.

What a great resource for moms. I would have loved to get some advice on potty training. I hated it and needed a lot of support.
This sounds really interesting. It would be neat to compare and contrast with other moms from all around the world.
