Back-to-School and Childhood Memories
Can you believe it’s already time for our kids to go back to school? Where did the time go? Between Frank and I, we now have 6 kids in the following grades: 8th grade, 6th grade, 5th grade (x2), 3rd grade and 1st grade! I love looking back on the years and their school pictures. It brings back a euphoria of feelings and memories.
I get those same memories when I look back on my school photos. While I don’t really have access to my photos as a young child, I do have some from when I took my own camera to school (not a smartphone either). We’re talking about the camera that you had to wind through to take another picture. The big deal was when I went to a camera with 35mm film – ha ha! Wow, I really feel like I’m dating myself now.

My mom hardly took any pictures of us back in the day, so I would really have to look hard for some photos.
Most of my pictures disappeared. What a good idea to have the ones today preserved.
My mom has all of my younger pictures. I need to get copies!
MY favorite back to school memories were when I was homeschooled and I got to do my school work with my mom and my sister! I also enjoyed public school while I was there but nothing like doing school in your pj’s! 🙂

I get a good laugh looking at my old pictures. I am sure my kids will do the same.
as the youngest of 8, there’s not a ton of pics of me in existence. there’s enough to laugh at how horrible the styles were!!

I always cringe at my old school photos. I often wonder what my mom was thinking letting me dress myself lol. This does sound like an awesome service though!
I’m not sure if there are many photos from my childhood. I’ll have to ask and see if I can locate them. It would be great to have them transfered to this format for preservation.

I always make sure to take pictures of the kids during the school year. I have to make sure I have something to embarrass them with later! =D
I always loved shopping for new clothes and school supplies for back to school!
My favorite memory’s of back to school would have to be getting to catch up with all your friends you had not seen all summer. It was always fun getting to pick out new clothes as well.

My school friends are always digging up old pictures of me to compare with my daughter! My kids go to the same schools I went to and some of the teachers are still there!
I have SO many great school memories! I loved being in school and was so excited to send my son off to kindergarten on Monday so he can begin his adventure. I posted a pic on Instagram for the contest!
