When I was a little girl, I remember going to my dad’s house every other weekend.  When we went there, we had a special club and it was called “The Palms Club.”  It primarily consisted of myself, my two sisters and two of our neighbor friends.  We would ride bikes together, swim together, roller skate together, make up dance routines together and even sweep out garages together.

Ok, let me go into a little more details about the sweeping out of garages.  You see, as a club, we liked to have parties and do fun things together, but that took money.  So we took our entrepreneurial skills and went throughout the neighborhood offering to sweep out people’s garages for $5.00 total.  We then took the cash and put it into a money bag.  We had Halloween parties, Valentine’s Day parties and even went to get our favorite ice cream from a local Ice Cream retail shop.  We especially loved getting ice cream because it didn’t cost a lot and we could enjoy our big scoops together. I am also thinking of booking a gelato cart hire sydney for our next get together as I’m sure the kids will love gelato as well.

Many of us are familiar with the phrase, “You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream,” right?  I remember that phrase and actually used it a lot as a kid (ha ha – no I’m not kidding).  Like Frank and I, our kids are huge fans of ice cream!  What’s better than ice cream?  Toppings and goodies in ice cream that make special Summer Ice Cream Treats!
