Imagine this situation.  You’ve just received a new present that requires batteries.  You head over to your stash of brand new batteries and pop in those bad boys to get your new device going.  You replace the cover and go to turn it on.  An immediate wave of disappointment sweeps over you as you discover that your brand new batteries don’t work at all!  Ugh…now you have to go back to the store and replace your new batteries (or even new device if it’s a faulty device).  Not really one of those feel good about the product or brand moments, right?

Even worse is when you’ve spent money on a new device – just to find it doesn’t even work.  When you go to return it (expecting a guarantee or some sort of warranty coverage), you’re basically dismissed and told no warranty exists.  That is such a disappointing and frustrating feeling, especially knowing how hard money is to earn and that you basically just wasted it on a product that you can’t even use.

Well, guess what?  With Rayovac, you don’t have to worry about that because they fully back their quality products with their Rayovac Guarantee.

We will replace, repair or refund, at our option any device (that uses Rayovac’s AA, AAA, C, D & 9V, cylindrical, button cell or coin cell batteries collectively the “Batteries.” “Batteries” do not cover lithium ion batteries.) damaged by our Batteries if the device and Batteries are returned to us, prepaid, to the address below. Be sure to remove the Batteries from the device, but include the Batteries in the same shipment as the device. Our guarantee does not cover devices that are damaged by Batteries that are beyond their expiration dates.

Flashlight Warranty
Lifetime
Warranty: Excludes accidents and misuse. Return defective product postage prepaid to Spectrum Brands, Inc.

I love that Rayovac offers a guarantee, especially when it comes to our most important tech devices!  It definitely makes me feel important as a consumer when a company stands behind their products the way Rayovac does!

Have you ever had a product that didn’t work and come to find out that no warranty or guarantee existed?  How did that make you feel about the product and the brand?

I just can’t support products that don’t support the consumer. If something doesn’t have a warranty, even a temporary one, I probably won’t buy it. If it doesn’t work when I first try it out, you better believe I’ll be one disappointed customer!

  2. Robin (Masshole Mommy) says:

I hate it when I find out a product has no warranty after the fact. I hate it even more when there is a warranty, but whatever happened wasn’t covered under it.

  3. We bought a product one time that didn’t have a warranty and we didn’t know that when we bought it. We were SO livid when we opened it and found out.

  4. I’m tending to look more for the Good HOusekeeping seal lately. It REALLY means a guarantee on a product.

  5. Pam says:

It’s great that Rayovac offers a warranty. I learned my lesson about buying things that didn’t have warranties!

  6. Dawn says:

I never buy anything that doesn’t have a warranty. I did that once. ONCE. That was the one time I got a lemon.

  7. aimee fauci says:

I’ve never had a problem. We’ve returned or deer camera at least 4 times already!

  8. I love Rayovac they make amazing products!! I am a fan sleeper LOL meaning I CAN NOT sleep without a fan on! I had a particular fan that lasted me 7 years! I was so upset when it finally died. I was even MORE upset when I bought a new fan that the thing didn’t last a month!! NO WARRANTY NO GUARANTEE! I might as well have thrown my money in a trash can! That’s why I love and stand by companies like Rayovac that back up their products!

  9. Mitch says:

This is good information. And this would be why I should check my flashlights instead of just buying ans storing them!

  10. Kayla says:

I’ve never had a bad experience with a item with a bad warranty, thank goodness. Good to know about Rayovac!

  11. Debbie L. says:

I get very upset when I purchase something and it will not work. If the store will not take it back – I feel cheated!

  12. Mickey says:

That’s pretty impressive! There are too many batteries that just don’t last long at all and it’s frustrating to have to keep buying more.

  13. We actually use this brand all the time. We constantly need these for our son’s swing.

  14. Yes, it has happened to me a lot. Great to know I don’t have to worry about that with Ryovac.

  15. Kay Adeola says:

My hubs always tries to check most of the products we buy what their guarantee is,I like to be covered just in case.

  16. I only buy products with warranties now. I’ve never had to use the warranty but it tells me that the company stands behind their products in case something goes wrong.

  17. I am a huge fan of Rayovac batteries. All of our batteries are Rayovac. Pretty much the only brand I buy,

  18. Mellisa says:

This reminds me that I should probably go and check my flashlights. It’s just something you normally don;t think about until you need it.

  19. Shell says:

It’s really frustrating when a product doesn’t work. But if a company can replace it, then I’m happy. No replacement= unhappy customer.

  20. Melinda says:

It’s good to know that they have such faith in their product. That really gives a customer faith in their product

  21. Rosey says:

Gotta love a brand with a built-in guarantee. WE’re big Ray-o-Vac fans in our house, and you’re right, when it comes to electronics, a guarantee really does matter.

  22. That’s good to know that Rayovak has a warranty program like this. When I make purchases I shop at stores that offer extra warranty protection. I would rather spend the extra money and be safe.

  23. Theresa says:

That’s great that Rayovac stands behind their products. We use their batteries often and have never had any issues with them!

  24. I love when companies stand behind their products. I also buy the insurance that come with the electronics.

  25. I agree. Guarantees so matter. I have been stuck with a lemon more than my fair share.

  26. I am horrible about warranties! I normally just get warranties if it is a super expensive product.

  27. Debbie Denny says:

I like to have a warranty. Better yet a warranty they will stand behind.

  28. A good warranty makes all the difference with a product. It is worth paying more money for a product that has a warranty a company will stand behind.

  29. Christie says:

I didn’t know Rayovac had this guarantee! Definitely gives me peace of mind now!
