We love cake in our family, but the kids especially love cake when they get involved in the process of making it and decorating it.  Whether it’s actually whipping together the batter, frosting the cake or cupcakes or decorating, our kids love to help in the kitchen.  It not only teaches them responsibly and some math (measuring and counting), but it also gives them memories they’ll take with them for the rest of their lives.  Memories of helping their mom in the kitchen and creating beautiful and yummy treats together.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Pillsbury and bake up some yummy tie-dyed cupcakes with the new Pillsbury Go Bold Cake Mixes.  The kids had a blast and enjoyed eating their goodies afterwards!  I was pretty impressed by how easy it was to put the cupcakes together and by how bold and bright they were when they came out of the oven!
