As a mom with a big family and who works full-time from home, I still enjoy baking and decorating, but often times look for recipe ideas that are both yummy, quick and easy.  Not to mention ideas that are kid-friendly!  Recently, our kids and I created Easy PEEPS Cupcakes made with Wilton supplies.

I anxiously opened up the package from Wilton when it arrived on my doorstep.  It included all sorts of Spring goodies, including Peeps products.  There are some really cute ones available this Spring Season!

For our cupcakes, we got creative and the kids and I whipped up some of the Pillsbury Funfetti Cake Mix.  We had the goal of making a tie-dye effect and it actually turned out pretty dang cool!  I figured we would use Spring colors (orange, green, blue and yellow) and the kids loved it!

We decorated our cupcakes using the White Ready-to-Decorate Icing.  I love that it’s easy to use and even comes with a few different decorating tips.  It includes a small round tip for dots and outlines, a large round tip for writing and printing, a leaf tip for basic and ruffled leaves and a star tip for stars, swirls and pretty borders.

After icing the top of the cupcake, it was time to add our Purple Peeps treat!  I stuck a pair of bunny ears into the top of the Peeps and then placed it in the middle of the cupcake.  Then I added the Colorful Egg Sprinkle Mix.

What would you decorate your Easter Peeps Cupcake with?
