Frank and I have been on two cruises together and love the cruising experience!  Frank has been on a lot of cruises, but this was my second cruise – both time going on Carnival Cruises.  I absolutely love them!  I love the service, the drinks, the rooms and the overall experience.  In fact, we love it so much that we are even getting married on a Carnival Cruise – the Carnival Miracle!

This last cruise was only 2 days long, which is not really a regular thing, but being a 2-day cruise, we got a pretty sweet deal on the price!  We were excited to try a 2-day cruise, since our first cruise together was a 3-day cruise.  I have to say that I prefer the 3-day cruise to the 2-day cruise because there are more activities and you get more time at sea.  However, we still had a blast on this cruise!

We got to the cruise early this time and it was a breeze getting checked in and settled in our room.  In fact, this time we had an ocean view room.  I loved it!  We had a view of the Queen Mary and the dome where the Spruce Goose used to be stored.  Plus, we could watch as some of the passengers were heading onto the shop – ready to start a fun weekend aboard the Carnival Imagination!!

Once we dropped off our luggage in our room, we headed over to the Mongolian Barbecue Station.  Oh my gosh – it’s my favorite dish on the ship and definitely something I’ll look forward to on each cruise.  If you haven’t had Mongolian Barbecue, you are definitely missing out.  Basically, you fill up a bowl with a variety of ingredients and then choose a meat and sauce and the chef cooks it in front of you.  Uh, let’s not forget that it tastes amazing!

One of the things I love about cruising is all the food.  Let me tell you, there is a LOT of food!!  You’ll find salad, sandwiches, meat, veggies, and tons of desserts.  There is a huge variety of desserts and they are beautiful and taste amazing!!  Oh and let’s not forget – lots of kisses – hee hee!

After eating, we grabbed a drink and began to explore the ship.  The bartender was easy nice enough to take our picture – although I don’t think that was the first time he was asked to do that.  We were excited to get underway on the Carnival Imagination.

Once we ate dinner, we grabbed our drinks and walked around the ship.  I love the way the inside of the ship looks and there were so many things to take pictures of!

The next morning, we woke up to in the Port of Ensenada, Mexico.  It was a gorgeous view, even though it was overcast.  We got some pretty good pictures too!

After checking out the view, we headed to breakfast.  Breakfast was amazing!  I could order whatever and how ever much I wanted from the breakfast menu.  Let me tell you, breakfast in the dining room is definitely the way to do it!

After breakfast, Frank and I decided to play Mini Golf on the roof.  There wasn’t anybody there when we got there, but by the time we left, the mini golf course was packed!  On our last cruise, I beat Frank royally at mini golf, but not so much for this time.

After a few rounds of miniature golf, we headed to check out the rest of the ship.  I love walking around the ship and discovered a giant size chess board, the water park being enjoyed by the local birds and a few other things.  After exploring the ship, we found a yummy fruit basket in our room.  Yay!

We had a great time the rest of the day – shopping, people watching, eating, drinking and playing the slots.  I even went and got a massage.  Oh my goodness – it was so relaxing and rejuvenating!  In fact, I would suggest that you enter any spa giveaways they host on the first day.  While you may not win, you will probably get a discount on spa services like I did.  I told Frank we definitely need to do that on our next cruise.  He’s all for it!

When I came back from my massage, I felt so happy and totally relaxed.  I even came back to a yummy plate of Chocolate dipped strawberries.  So good!  Frank had a good time at the Cash Claw, but no dice.  Man, that is hard to win at!  I can’t tell you how many times I had a bundle of cash in the claw and as soon as it reached the top – bam!  The money fell out.  Talk about disappointing!  Oh well, it was fun having everyone route us on and vice versa.

The next morning, we were back in the Port of Long Beach.  However, before disembarking the ship, we headed to the Omelette bar.  The Omelette bar was in the same place as the Mongolian Barbecue and was so good.  I love omelets and this was definitely the way to end our cruise.
