I’m Excited to be a Part of the Netflix Stream Team!!
My family and I love to watch Netflix at home! In fact, we don’t have cable – only streaming capabilities, Blu-ray and DVD. When I was invited to become a part of the Netflix Stream Team, I jumped at the opportunity! I share with my family and friends constantly about the shows we find and love on Netflix, not to mention the fact that the kids can have their own separate login and shows. When we first log in, we have the option to either choose our shows or the kids shows. The kids love this feature – and so do the parents!
If you have kids in school, you are probably aware that March is Science Fair month. I know that Brian participated in a Science Fair at school recently, and I’m sure his brothers will as they get older. Finding out that your child has a Science Project can be kind of a scary thing. You know you’re going to have to Google ideas for science experiments and help monitor your child while putting the project together, right? Nope!
You can find a wide variety of science experiment ideas on Netflix! Yep, that’s right! Netflix has a variety of TV shows and movies that might help jump start your child’s imaginations and get your whole family excited about a winning science fair idea.
For Big Kids, you’ll find shows on Netflix such as How Stuff Works, How Do They Do It, Is It Possible?, Build It Bigger, How the Universe Works, Extreme Engineering, and Myth Busters. I am familiar with a few of these titles that the boys have discovered and enjoyed watching. I love that these shows are both educational and fun to watch!
For the Little Ones, you’ll find shows on Netflix such as Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius, Peep and the Big Wide World, Magic School Bus: All Dried Up, Animal Mechanicals, and Wild Kratts. Sounds like some fun shows, right? Heck, I would even watch these with the kids!
If you are still looking for Science Fair Project Inspiration, check out this handy list by Common Sense Media. Or how about this Light Bulb Battery Science Experiment or How to Make Honeycomb Candy?
Do you have Netflix? What are some of your or your kids’ favorite shows on Netflix?
