St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and that means time for some fun DIY crafts and projects.  We came up with the DIY St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Gifts in a Jar.  It’s fun, creative, yummy and budget-friendly.  Plus, the kids will have a blast as they match up colors, eat candies and see their St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Gifts in a Jar come to life!

All you need for this activity is M&Ms, Rolos (or other gold wrapped candies), St. Patrick’s Day themed fabric (to cover the lid), and some green ribbon.  Oh and parental supervision is a good idea if you want the jars filled – ha ha!  You know how much kids love to eat candy!

The kids loved making the St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Gifts in a Jar!  And of course they loved eating them too!  This is a great activity because it not only is a yummy and fun treat, but it also teaches them their colors.  They learn color identification while separating out the different colored M&Ms.  Plus, it makes a great gift for St. Patrick’s Day!
