These recipe-ready veggie crumbles are perfect for your favorite chili, spaghetti sauce, tacos and more.  MorningStar Farms Grillers Burger Style Recipe Crumbles contain 75% less fat than regular ground beef crumbles, cooked (pan-browned).  Regular ground beef crumbles, cooked (pan-browned), contain 10g fat per serving (55g).  MorningStar Farms Grillers Burger Style Recipe Crumbles contain 2.5g total fat per serving (55g).

Ingredients

– 18 dried jumbo pasta shells
– 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed
– 1 egg, slightly beaten
– 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
– 3/4 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or provolone cheese (2 oz.)
– 1 tsp dried oregano leaves
– 1/4 tsp pepepr
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups MorningStar Farms Meal Starters Grillers Recipe Crumbles
– 2 cups Marinara Sauce

Directions

1 – Cook the pasta according to the package directions.  Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water.  Be sure to drain it well.

2 – Place spinach in the colander.  Use the back of a spoon to press liquid out of the spinach.

3 – In a medium bowl, stir the spinach and egg.  Stir in the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, oregano, pepper and garlic.  Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture into each pasta shell.

4 – Arrange in an 8x8x2-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.

5 – In a bowl, mix the marinara sauce with the MorningStar Farms Meal Starters Grillers Recipe Crumbles.  Pour the Crumbles Sauce over the top.  Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese.

6 – Tightly cover with foil and bake, covered, at 350° F for 50 minutes. Remove foil. Bake, uncovered, at 350° F about 10 minutes more or until heated through. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with salad and garlic bread.  Enjoy!

    This is a great looking recipe!I have never tried the MorningStar Crumbles before,but I have tried a couple of their other products,and they was pretty good.I am saving this recipe to make for my family as soon as I can get out to the store to pick up what I need for it.Thanks for sharing.

  9. I didn’t know Morning Star had crumbles. Will definitely have to give them a try. I don’t think I have had stuffed shells since my Mom made them when I was a kid. Looks wonderful! Shaunna
