Ready, Set, Go with M&Ms and the Forza Motorsport 4 for XBox

We love playing video games in our home and just recently, Frank and I had the opportunity to check out the Forza 4 Video Game for the XBox!  Usually it’s the kids playing video games, so this was the first time that Frank and I really had a chance to sit down to play a game together.  Plus, it was the first time playing the Forza 4 video game on the XBox!  I couldn’t believe how clear the picture was and how great the sound was as well.  To make our “gaming date night” that much more special, I whipped up a batch of Rice Krispies Treat with M&Ms.  It was super easy to make and yummy!

Forza Motorsport 4 is the definitive racing game of 2011.  The game delivers beautiful graphics, an awesome variety of cars, tracks and challenges with ground-breaking social interaction all while letting players revel in their passion for cars!  I always thought Frank was a good driver, but was amazed that he completed both races with ZERO errors!  It is definitely a fun game to play together!

Gaming with M Pixel Art Contest

M&Ms are one of my personal favorite treats.  I especially love the Peanut M&Ms!  So, I not only picked up a package of the Plain M&Ms for our Rice Krispies Treats, but I also picked up a package of the Peanut M&Ms for me to snack on!  Now for the M&Ms Rice Krispies Treats Recipe.

M&Ms RICE KRISPIES TREATS

Ingredients

– 3 Tbsp butter

– 1 package Mini Marshmallows

– 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

– 2 cups Plain M&Ms

Directions

1 – Melt the butter in a pot.

2 – Add the marshmallows and stir until melted.

3 – Add in the Rice Krispies Cereal.

4 – Add in the M&Ms and stir.

I loved having a game date night with Frank and look forward to the next one we have!  Remember, the Forza 5 will be available at Walmart starting next week!
