This past summer, Frank and I had the opportunity to take the boys to Maui for my little sister’s wedding.  I love Maui!  It’s relaxing, beautiful and romantic (even with kids).  One of my favorite memories of Maui was going with my dad and stepmom when I turned 13.  I snorkeled, went swimming, made a penpal and enjoyed Hawaiian Treats such as POG, Hawaiian Sweet Bread and Hawaiian Host Candies.  This last trip, I made a point to stop at the airport gift shop in Hawaii and buy some Hawaiian Host candies for us to enjoy when we got home.  They didn’t last very long – ha ha!  I would love to go back to Maui or any of the other Hawaiian Islands!  Would you love to go to Hawaii?  If you’re nodding your head in agreement, let me tell you more.

Hawaiian Host is having a fun Hula Your Way to Hawaii Contest, where they will be awarding one grand prize winner a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii.  That’s right!  One winner will receive a 4-night/5-day trip for he/she and (3) three guests.  The trip will include round-trip air transportation to/from Sacramento, California and Honolulu, Hawaii and hotel accommodations in Honolulu, Hawaii for four nights.

Frank and I recently traveled up to El Dorado Hills, California to check out the Hawaiian Host Hula Your Way to Hawaii Event at Raley’s Supermarket.  It was so much fun!  I actually got up in front of everyone and attempted (that’s right, I attempted) to do the Hula.

At the event, there were women teaching participants how to Hula, music and even a fun spin-the-wheel contest hosted by the local radio station.  Guests could win DVDs, goodie bags and even tickets to see Thor at the local movie theater.  There are only 3 more dates coming up for this fun event at select Raley’s locations, so check it out with your family for a good time and prizes!

If you won, who would you take to Hawaii?
