The Mommy-Files is Heading to Paso Robles for Fitcation 2013

I have heard about Fitcation from other bloggers, but this will be my first year attending! I was especially excited that it’s going to be in Paso Robles this weekend. There is some fitness and lots of fun scheduled for the weekend! Some of the activities include shopping and walking around Downtown Paso Robles, enjoying SIP Certified Wines, touring Castoro Winery, Pasolivo, and Hearst Castle.

WHAT IS FITCATION?

Fitcation is a special weekend event for bloggers in need of a vacation. It’s a destination weekend to enjoy life. But this is not just any vacation, Fitcation is a weekend that also introduces healthy and wellness themes into the mix, like hiking, Cross Fit, wine tasting, wholesome gourmet food straight from local farms, and kayaking. Participants to this event are hand selected from an application process. Bloggers enjoy a symbiotic relationship with sponsors while having their enjoyment subsidized. They also receive a bountiful swag bag that represents the best in natural food and other personal care or parenting products.

I’m excited but also a little nervous. I’m not the most athletic individual when it comes to things like Boot Camp and Yoga. Check out this video of Caroline and I playing Racquetball at the local gym.

While I am a little nervous about the physical activity, I am excited to meet some new bloggers and explore some of the beauty that makes up my home – the California Central Coast.

I have heard a lot about this event, and I’ve always been scared to apply to go! LOL I am sooo not athletic, I don’t know if I could keep up! LOL!

Thanks for posting the embarrassing video…But it was a great weekend! I liked that they had different levels of athletics and there was never any judgement or pushing.
