Happy Energy Awareness Month! Since 1991, the federal government has designated October as Energy Awareness Month and Best Buy is making it easy to find ENERGY STAR® certified products online and in stores to help you save money on energy costs. Plus, Best Buy can help connect you with local utility rebates on the energy-efficient products we use every day. How awesome is that?

Since October is Energy Awareness Month, it makes it a great time to upgrade to a new energy-efficient appliance, television or computer to save money on your home energy bills. Best Buy has more than 2,300 unique ENERGY STAR certified products available in Best Buy stores and online.

Did you know the average home’s annual energy bill is $2,200? Yikes, right? Not only can you get savings from simply having energy efficient products, local utility companies provide additional rebates that can save you up to $300. After looking through Best Buy‘s site, I can say I am really impressed by how many different ENERGY STAR certified products they sell! Plus, I love how easy they make it for us to be able to get high quality appliances and save money while being green at the same time!
