Girl Scouts

I started as a Girl Scout when I was in Kindergarten. That’s right folks, I was a cute, adorable Brownie who could sell a boat load of Girl Scout Cookies! Heck, I could have trained other Girl Scouts in cookie sales if they let me. The key – sell in front of a bank and flash your imperfect smile. Worked every single time. Heck, I even had people come back after turning me down the first time! Ha ha!  In this picture, I was a Junior Girl Scout.  Can you find me?

Were you in Girl Scouts?  What was your favorite Girl Scout memory?

I was a Girl Scout and I had a blast being one. One of my favorite memories is a summer camp that we got to go to. We slept in cabins and I had a blast, getting to go swimming and paddling in the canoe. We had a big party and I got a present. A really nice necklace. It was the best summer camp trip I ever had!

Julie – that is awesome! I went to Girl Scout Camp every year until I got to high school. There were so many great memories surrounding it. 🙂 Loved being a Girl Scout.
