Talk About It Tuesday – Pampering Ourselves
I’ve been blogging for 5 years now and have really loved getting to know everyone out there in the blogosphere. With that being said, I’ve decided to start a new vlogging series called Talk About It Tuesday. Each week, I’ll post a video with the week’s topic and a few questions that will help us get to know each other. You can either create a video in response to the topic or leave your answer in the comment below. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone!
This week we’re talking about what we like to do to pamper ourselves!
I guess I dont do alot of ‘pampering’ per se. I havent ever had a massage nor been to a spa. My kind of pampering is maybe gardening and speding time outside.
Ellen – those are great ways to relax and pamper yourself. 🙂
Actually, I just spent 3 hours at the spa a couple of days ago. It was wonderful!
Cheryl – 3 hours at the spa? Nice!!! I had a hard time leaving the spa when we went – lol
Nice idea of the video response. I’m always working on more pampering time – it is a work in progress.
Ghada – pampering time could be anything. I still can’t believe I did a video with my face mask on – lol
The most important thing for a woman to do is pamper themselves but sometimes it is the hardest thing to talk ourselves into. I guess we all have our own ideas of pampering ourselves so the responses will be varied. I pamper myself by saying no to work and reading a book.
1Grace – I agree with you. Those are great ways to pamper yourself!! Pamper away!
i’m not good about pampering myself. i take a bubble bath frequently at night, but that’s it.
Brett – you should definitely pamper yourself more often. 🙂 You deserve it. 🙂
I know I need to stop and pamper myself time to time. I have a hectic life and I know if I do not stop and make time for me, I will just get more stressed.
Susan – that’s the truth! Without pampering time, we definitely find ourselves more stressed.
I like to spend time pampering myself because it always makes me feel better and rejuvenated. I like to find ways that do not cost a lot of money! I need to do this-get a face mask done. I have not done this in such a long time. And I need to do my nails. Thanks for the tips!
Julie – I know what you mean about the rejuvenating feeling! Cost-effective ways are especially good because then you don’t worry about your budget.
I need to pamper myself more I really put this on a back burner. I do like to get a pedicure. I have a massage but it’s been years. I do go to the chiropractor once a month. I think it will get easier for me to have time to pamper myself when my three year old gets older.
Denise – it could be as simple as painting your nails or letting your toes soak in a bath. 🙂 Good luck on pampering yourself more often.
Nice!!!! Never been to a spa! I am missing out!
When our 5 kids were growing up, getting a 15 min bubble bath felt like a trip to the spa to me lol! Now that they are all young adults on their own I have lots of me time. I do my own at home facials and manicures and pedicures and teeth whitening weekly. I can have a bubble bath anytime I want and really enjoy self hypnosis too. Now my husband and I are saving up to indulge in getting one of those awesome shiatsu massage chairs that also get your legs and arms as well as entire spine. I can’t wait! : )
