Boy Using An Inhaler

If you run a daycare with a child who has asthma, have a niece or nephew with asthma or even if your own child has asthma, you understand exactly how difficult it can be to care for a child who struggles with lung problems. Most asthmatic children have an emergency inhaler, but sometimes something more is necessary. If your child’s asthma is not under control, consider speaking with your doctor about a daily medication such as Advair. Advair is a once-daily asthma inhaler that can offer your child controlled asthma. This means he’ll be able to run, play and jump without breaking into a heavy cough or difficulty breathing. You can also look for a reputable pharmacy that will help you find the right medicine for your child. Moreover, you can visit a helpful site to learn more about proper medication for an asthmatic child.

You can buy Advair at your regular pharmacy along with your regular prescription medications. Advair does require a prescription, so you must talk with your doctor about it before your purchase. Advair is covered by some insurance companies, while others may require that you pay a co-pay. Note that sometimes co-pays can be quite high when it comes to Advair. Ask your doctor for coupons and samples if his office carries them to help with your financial cost. You can also purchase your inhalers through online pharmacies, which tend to be less costly than regular in-person pharmacies. As always, make sure you speak with your doctor if you encounter any problems or questions regarding your child’s use of Advair.

My nephew has asthma, it is really hard for him! I will have to tell his mom about this, anything that can help, even a little bit, would be great!

My grandson started having terrible asthma episodes at the age of 2. He had pneumonia three times and was hospitalized for a week at 4 with RSV/pneumonia. At that point he had to have 2 or 3 nebulizer treatments just to get through a day. He was put on Advair and it has been a miracle med for him. He’s 5 1/2 now and just started kindergarten. He even played t-ball in the spring with no asthma problems. I sing it’s praises all the time.

  3. My daughter had asthma when she was growing up and still gets flare ups from time to time. She never used Advair.

A good way to help control Asthma is with Advair. I have a family member that has Asthma and she takes this medicine. It has really helped her with her problems with Asthma. It is so important to make sure to keep it under control because a person can die with this condition.
