5 Reasons You Should Check Out Disney’s “Planes” in Theaters!
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend Disney’s Planes Pre-party and Premiere in Hollywood, California. It was an amazing experience and one I will never forget! The Pre-party took place in front of the El Capitan Theater, with a red carpet leading up to the El Capitan Theater itself. There were games, food, and lots of celebrities.
After eating, playing, and posing for pics with lots of different celebrities, it was time to head into the El Capitan Theater for the Premiere of Disney’s Planes. I was super excited about watching the premiere because my boys loved watching and playing with toys from Disney’s Cars…and I have to admit that I did too!
Disney’s Planes soared into theaters today and it is one high-flying adventure you and your family don’t want to miss out on! I laughed throughout the movie, as did the rest of the audience. It was a lot of fun recognizing the different actor’s voices paired with the different characters.
5 REASONS TO CHECK OUT DISNEY’S PLANES IN THEATERS
1 – Disney’s Planes is based on the same world as that seen in Disney’s Cars. As I watched the movie, I noticed a lot of similar scenery, although this one took place in the air rather than on the ground. I even saw some of the Tractor Cows (tippin’ and all) that were in Disney’s Cars.
2 – Dane Cook is one of the main character’s voices. I love Dane Cook in his past movies, but he did an awesome job as the voice of Dusty, the main character in the film. His character is both energetic, uplifting and selfless.
3 – 3D is totally the way to go when it comes to watching Disney’s Planes. I‘ve seen a lot of movies in 3D, but especially loved watching Disney‘s Planes with the cool glasses on! With lots of scenes in the air, there were several times throughout the movie that I felt like I was flying with them. 3D is definitely the way to go!
4 – Teri Hatcher is the voice of Dottie, an upbeat and say-it-like-it-is mechanic. She was both funny and encouraging to Dusty Crophopper. What an awesome actress!
5 – Disney‘s Planes is funny, full of adventure, and motivational! Who would have ever thought that a plane would be afraid of heights, right? Or that one would give up his chance at winning to help a competitor who wasn’t so nice during the race? Well, you’ll see both when you watch Disney‘s Planes.
