Kohl's Curious George 1

It’s that time again…the start of a new school year.  For our family, there’s excitement and anxiety brewing as my twins are now in the “number grades.” I’m excited that the kids will be in school for the full day! The kids, on the other hand, are dreading having to be in school “for so long.”

If you’re like me right now, you have been searching for great deals for clothes and supplies.  I always like a good deal, and I also like to know when I purchase certain items that the money is going to the right place.  I admire Kohl’s philanthropic program for which Kohl’s donates 100 percent of the net profit to children’s health and education initiatives nationwide.

My kids love to read about the mischievous adventures of Curious George while snuggling up to their own George.  And how appropriate but to read, Curious George’s First Day of School to get them excited about going back to school.

Now through the end of September, Kohl’s offers exclusive hardcover editions of timeless Curious George® books, including Curious George’s First Day of School, Curious George’s Dinosaur Discovery, Curious George and the Puppies, Curious George Visits the Zoo, and Curious George Goes Camping, along with coordinating plush toys, a backpack and note cards for just $5 each. Kohl’s also offers two great cookbooks, Kids Treats and Taste of Home: The Busy Family Cookbook, perfect for meal planning on busy evenings.

Since the program’s inception in 2000, the Kohl’s Cares philanthropic program has raised more than $231 million for children’s health and education programs in local communities across the country.

Young readers will be thrilled to embark on new adventures with Curious George, the lovable, mischievous primate and his trusty companion, the man in the yellow hat. Customers will be proud to support the program knowing.
