We watch a lot of movies in our family and Netflix is one of our favorite movie sources!  We watch movies and television shows on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as streaming Netflix through our Blu-ray player and Wii Game System.  This summer, Netflix launched their new family site designed to meet any family’s summertime entertainment needs.  Parents will find lists of movies and TV shows for summer moments that matter most.  The site is accessible from any computer or tablet, the Families page is available for both members and non-members.  Families with Netflix can enjoy their favorites- always without commercial – anytime, anywhere, regardless of where your family is headed this summer.

During the summer months, it can be quite a challenge to work from home and keep the kiddos occupied.  Sometimes it’s just great to turn to Netflix for fun summer movies or television shows!  How about traveling with kids?  Thank goodness for Netflix streaming options.  You can watch Netflix wherever there is a wi-fi connection.  Let’s not forget family movie night – complete with popcorn, candy, jammies, slippers, blankets and a great family movie via Netflix!

Netflix Families

There are so many fun lists on the Netflix Families site!  One of my favorites is the “Movies Based on Best Sellers” and “Classics to Share with Your Kids” (including She-Ra and Jem – oh yeah!), but the kids really like “Are We There Yet? Great Titles to Take on Vacation” and “Family Movie Night.”  These rows of titles are awesome and are designed so you can pick which ones your family identifies with most!

The Netflix Family site features several new categories including Family Movie Night, Are We There Yet and TV for Curious Kids.  You don’t even have to be a Netflix member to access the new Netflix Family site!  How awesome is that?

Many families in the U.S. already have three or more Netflix-ready devices in their household.  Netflix works on a wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, Smart TVs, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii.  Families with Netflix can enjoy their favorites – always without commercials – anytime, anywhere.  For a low monthly fee, this is awesome, especially when parents tend to spend nearly double on summer entertainment than they do during the holidays!  A one-year Netflix subscription costs less than taking a family of five on two trips to the movie theater – and that’s without the popcorn!  Netflix delivers big entertainment without breaking the bank ($7.99 / month).

Netflix.com/Families is a new destination designed to meet your family’s summertime entertainment needs. On Netflix.com/Families, parents can find lists of movies and TV shows for all kinds of special summer moments.

Visit www.Netflix.com/Families for more information on the best ways to stream as well as videos from families using Netflix.

I love Netflix. We just joined it about 2 months ago. We got rid of our cable years ago and I can’t stand watching shows with commercials, so we only ever really watch movies and tv series on dvd- so Netflix is perfect for us!
